Cassie - After reading the first couple of sentences, I have to stop, go back and reread it carefully. I am incredibly surprised by what I am seeing written on the page. I carefully close the book, Using my finger as a bookmark so as not to lose the page Alpha wants me to read from, so that I can look at the front cover and I see it is a relatively standard, plain black-leather covered book with no image or writing on the front, but when I decide to check the spine, which is also blank, I see it is well worn, which means it has been opened and closed many times in the past. Cassie - It has now been 4 weeks since my birthday, a little over 3 weeks since that first meeting with Alpha Sven and Luna Lily. The cramps still hit me at the exact same time everyday, like clockwork and I still have not spoken to anyone about them. Today Thomas and I are meeting with Alpha Sven and Luna Lily again, so that we can discuss our plans and options regarding my rejection of Beta Ace. Cassie - After telling Luna and Dr Thorne about the cramps, which I now know Ace caused me, the pains stopped. I still haven't ventured from my room, nervous of seeing Ace or Maddie, who I imagine helped Ace with his 'needs', resulting in my pain. I don't know what happened. All I know is that the pain has stopped, not faded, but completely stopped. And I am not complaining. Thomas keeps encouraging me to leave the room, assuring me we will not see Ace.
