Chapter 111 - Impasse

Jackson POV We were positioned around the meeting point. The message I passed onto Rosie indicated there would be a meeting with select Pack members to flush out the traitor. I knew this would be too tempting for the traitor as they would have us all in one place. And depending on the talents of the traitor, we could have a fight on our hands. The meeting was scheduled to start in an hour. We were standing around discussing our fake plans as I felt someone enter our space. They had a strong alpha aura, and it took me a minute to adjust to the power emanating from them. I could see Mandy and Josh take a step back as the aura hit them harder. Christian was also here but holding his own. He had experienced healing with Carrie, and I have to assume some of her powers must have transferred to him to be able to handle the aura. Jessica and Carleton were strong in their own right and I was not concerned for them. I knew Mandy was expecting.

Chapter 112 - Sibling Rivalry

Carrie POV I was crumbling inside. The man who I had cherished as my brother was now just a stranger I had never known. A nightmare who had been after me all along. “Why didn’t you just kill me when you had the chance?” I ask him. “Oh, I do not want you dead sister. I needed you alive, but I also needed you to strengthen your powers. Now that I know you have been doing some healing, and have used your talents, it was time to make my move,” he says with a smile. “I am proud of you sis. You have done well. I just wish you had the heart to use your powers for evil, like I do,” he says as he takes a step towards my barrier. I feel Jackson move towards me, but I want to be outside this protective barrier. I put my hand up, “You are not leaving without me,” he says with a chill in his voice. I glance to Jackson and shake my head, “I am sorry,” I mouth to him as I pop out of the barrier in time to see the rage on Jackson’s face. He pounds on the

I just wanted to jump on and keep you up to date on The Luna's Fated Mate writing schedule. As I menitioned in a previous post, I lost one of my fur babies a week ago. It was unexpected and has thrown off my writing schedule this past week. I apologize for this and wanted to let you know, I have a couple work committments this week that will prevent me writing but I will be back on Thursday with the next chapter. The story will wrap up in the next week. I admit I was feeling like I might be rushing the ending, so a pause was necessary to ensure I give you the story ending you deserve. And with all my stories I like to leave a teaser on more that could follow. For those who followed Rejected, Eric's story is coming out in April so I hope you will watch for that. I am excited to write his story and will keep you updated on when that will start. For now, I truly appreciate your understanding and all your support! Ellie xo

Chapter 113 - Things Lost

Carrie POV I sit in shock watching the life drain from my brother. The woman who wounded him moves closer to him, “Why didn’t you listen, Randy?” she asks sadly. “Please,” he begs as he holds out his hand to her. “Where is the serum?” she demands of him. “Pocket,” he whispers as his breathing becomes more strained. She reaches down and takes the bottle from him. He looks at her with hope in his eyes, until he realizes she is not going to give it to him. His eyes close as the woman turns to me with sadness in her eyes. “This is not how I envisioned our first meeting,” she murmurs as she runs her hand over my body. I feel instant relief and a burning inside my body. I can feel the healing of the organs that were damaged by the doctor. She bends down to help me sit up. “I am going to save your brother. He was a good man before he met his mate,” she tells me as stands before me. “He does not deserve to live. Many have suffered because of him

Chapter 114 - Damage

Jackson POV I watched the shock roll across Carrie’s face. A wolf with no wolf was devastating. To know you had something to do with the loss of a wolf would be a lot to handle. “It does not matter, he is going to the dungeons,” I reiterate watching Josh and Christian move forward to pick Randy up from the ground. “Did you not hear me? He is not a threat!” the woman yells. “Too damn bad. He may have information we can use,” I say to her as Randy is dragged towards the dungeons. “What information? He was the cause of the bulk of the issues,” she says as she tries to go after her son. I catch her arm. “You are not going anywhere until you explain how you came to be here,” I say to her as Carrie watches them drag her brother away. “What do you mean?” she demands. “I mean Carrie has waited a lifetime for her mother and you just happen to show up at the exact time she needs you?” I respond. Carrie turns as I finish asking the questi

Chapter 115 - Wolf?

Carrie POV I stare in disbelief as I see Adam crumble to the ground. I could not understand how he had escaped his prison and yet here he was dead in front of my eyes. But as we stared at his body it started to morph into something else. Or rather someone else. He became the Beta who Jackson had been looking for. “How is this possible?” I hear Jackson mumble at my side. My mother walks around us and moves towards the Beta’s body. She kicks him, as if wanting to assure herself he is dead. “He was working closely with your father. He had taken on many personas over the years, but his most valued was the Beta of your Pack, Alpha,” she replies. “Why?” Jackson asks. “Because your Pack would bring him all that he wanted. He knew you would find his daughter on your territory. You would not let a rogue go, so he would be able to rescue her and give her a better life than she had. He would have been able to assume her powers and she would have bee

Chapter 116 - Uncertain

Carrie POV “Do you sincerely believe he deserves to have his wolf, after all that he has done?” my mother asks. I sit with that question. Did I think he deserved his wolf? I had not been prepared to help save him, yet I worried about him being without a wolf. A wolf was so much a part of who we were. And having been without my wolf for so long, I could easily identify with the devastation. “I do not know the answer to that question,” I respond honestly. “Well, you have time to decide,” my mother replies. “What do you mean?” I ask. “You have taken his wolf into your care; you can give it back or let the wolf go to its resting place. The choice will solely be yours,” my mother says softly. I sit back in my chair and chew my food slowly. Mandy is sitting silent listening to the conversation. “What do you think?” I ask her as she looks at me in surprise. “I think it is as your mother has said. It is your choice; your decision,” she replies.

Chapter 117 - Long Gone

Carrie POV Jackson returned to us and shared what they learned so far. Which was not much. My mother had attempted to have Randy freed, but Jackson quickly replied, “It is out of my hands. The Wolf Council is taking him into custody, and he will be charged accordingly.”. “That is outrageous. We have neutralized the threat!” my mother exclaims. “Take it up with Carleton. He is making transfer arrangements as we speak,” Jackson says without sympathy. “Carrie you must do something to help your brother,” my mother pleads with me. Shaking my head, “I am sorry, but I cannot. He betrayed me and my Pack; had he succeeded it would have been the end of us,” I reply to her. Jackson looks at me with love and pride at my response. The rage that crosses my mother’s face surprises me, but she quickly contains it. That causes me to pause for a moment as I watch her. “You have his wolf, his powers … what more do you want?” she asks coldly. “It is not abo

Chapter 118 - Threats

Carrie POV It has been three months since we last saw my mother, brother, or his mate the female doctor. Everyone has been on intense alert since that fight. Our warriors were exhausted from all the additional training and extra shifts they have been taking to protect the Pack. Jessica has settled into her job working with Carleton for the Wolf Council. They continue to try and find leads as to where my family is but have had no luck. They are all wanted and considered dangerous. There are huge bounties on all of them. I do not want them captured. I want them dead. They are wreaking havoc with my family and my doctor is concerned the stress is impacting my ability to get pregnant. I am exhausted myself worrying about how much I have brought to Jackson’s doorstep. He continues to tell me to stop worrying. He will stand by my side regardless. But the Pack did not sign on for this either. They continue to be supportive, but I know they are
