CHAPTER 68Genevieve's pov.Jamie had sent his men to look for the seed oil and over the next two days, things seemed to be back to normal. There was no news of attacks and everywhere was peaceful. But we knew that it wasn't over and they could strike at any moment.The only thing that had not gotten back to normal was Thorn and I. CHAPTER 70Thorn's pov.I was guarding the ruins along with two other guards, we were assigned to different sides, each person minding his work. I wasn't being watched by anyone and that meant that I had a lot of time to look for the tunnel. I left my duty post to sniff around for a bit, trying to find any kind of clue that would lead me to the right tunnel. I only have till the end of the month to find this tunnel or my sister would be killed.The thought of losing my only sister made me shudder. I will never be able to forgive myself if anything happened to her because it would be all my fault. I had a lot of time to carry out this task but I wasted it all, messing around with Genevieve.Speaking of Genevieve, I wonder how she must be coping.
