Jane sighed as she picked a stone and threw it across the river that was in front of her. She had been here for a while, there was no clock, no smartphone, no technology, and somehow the night took longer to arrive. She sat down on a small rock and rested her head on her palm as she went deep in thought. Emily had been able to explain to her what her new world was. She remembered the conversation that they both had that night as it was still fresh in her brain. "So you claim to come from another world better than this?"
