Jax’s POV:Looking down at Amelia, my incredible, strong, and yet so vulnerable mate, I wish I could freeze the time. Her chest is rising and falling steadily, with her being fast asleep in my arms. No sign of sorrow or worry on her face, just peacefulness, while her arms wrap a little tighter around me every now and then. In between, she mumbles incoherent things in her sleep, which is ever so adorable.It’s already eleven in the morning, but I don’t dare to move or wake her. Even my breathing is shallow.
