chapter 11

I stood at the corner of the Kitchen and silently watched as the omegas finished plating the food for breakfast. They were rushing around the kitchen to serve breakfast in time. After I'd thrown the trash out, Megan had told me to stand by the corner, like a freaking child, and they carried on with their work.I was more than happy to be ignored. Attention that comes from anyone in this pack is not a good attention.Beatrice popped her head through the cracked door and she looked at the girls."The Alpha is at the table. Start serving." She ordered before she disappeared again. Each girl took two plates out and came back to take the rest.My help was not needed and even if it was, I would rather have them boil me in to lunch than go serve Raphael his breakfast.Once all the food was out, the omegas returned and started cleaning the kitchen. While they're preparing a meal, they managed to make a big mess. They piled the dishes they used to make breakfast near the sink and carried on wi

chapter 12

My bare feet carried me through the woods. My hair flew backwards, following the blow of the strong wind. I ran as fast as I could, constantly looking around to see if anyone was following me. There was no one behind me.Tears of joy were blurring my eyes but I quickly wiped them with the back of my hands. I didn't dare stop running for a second, not even when my right foot was begging me to stop. The air felt fresher out here in the woods, it smelled like freedom.I wanted to stop and catch my breath for a second. But any minute now, someone might notice that I was gone or Okla might change her mind and tell Beatrice that I ran away. Which was why I couldn't risk a rest and get caught. No matter how much I wanted to keep going, my pace was slowing down.I was sure that I was far away from the main pack house but I don't know how wide the Blue Moon pack is, so there was still risk of me being at the very center of the territory. My breath grew short, coming out in a huff after each

chapter 13

Raphael Stars...I stared down at Haden's daughter with confusion. Her small hands were clenching her collar and a soft whimper would once in a while leave her slightly parted lips.I should have left her be when I saw her running towards the rouge territory. That would have been a much better way of ending this. I happened to be in the garden that was behind the main pack house when I'd seen her stepping towards the forest.I first followed her because there was no way I was going to let her leave. I'd watched her going deeper and deeper in to their territory and I couldn't do it. I couldn't leave her to them.If the rouges had found her, death would have been the last thing they would have done to her. No. They would make her wish and beg for death.I kept her tucked in my arms as I continued on walking towards my pack. I picked up my pace. The quicker I can leave this territory, the better it would be.The second I stepped foot in my territory

Mina Wolf...I woke up with a start and looked around my suran unexpected sigh of relief when I realized that I was in my cell. I looked over to the door of the cell and the bars didn't moke me this time.I was glad to see the bars. Because it meant that they kept the outside away.I might be the captive here but in the cell, I was safe from anyone outside of the bars. What happened in the woods slowly came to me and my pulse sped up at the memory of Raphael tearing the three rouges as if they were nothing more than stuffed toys. Then, I remembered the pain, one that was caused by Mika.I still find it hard to believe that Mika would cheat on me with another woman. It's only been a month since we found out that we are mates and only a few days since I was kidnapped by the enemy pack. Yet, he still did this to me.My heart ached at the memory of him. If I ever get a chance to see him again, will I be able to forgive him?I probably would forgive him. He's s

chapter 15

Raphael Stars...I looked down at the bloody mess left at boarder of the woods behind the main pack house.Anger rushed through me at the sight of one of my warriors brutally murdered."Who do you think did this?" Silver asked, looking better than I thought he would be after what had happened with Luca last night."Isn't it obvious?" Maxwell replied. "It's clearly payback from Alpha Landor."Crossing my arms across my chest, I roamed my eyes through the woods to see if there were anymore rouges around here.If it were any other day, there would have been a few running around in their wolf forms, hunting small animals and ignoring our existence. But now, I couldn't hear a thing. There were no paws drumming against the ground, no pants or growls of wolves and certainly no other hunting movements. The rouges were gone and it was obvious that the rouge Alpha Landor had pulled them back before he attacked one of my men and butchered him like a pig and left him for me to find.Th

chapter 16

Mina Wolf...I glanced up at the small window at the top corner of the cell and saw that it was close to sun down.Today, no one came to get me. Beatrice didn't show up like she always does to come get me so I could assist the omegas with their works. I guess it was because I tried to run away and they didn't want to risk it again. I get it.Pulling the blanket up to my chin, I wrapped it around myself and looked out of the cell through the bars of the door.Last night, after Beta Silver had brought me the best meal I've had since I was kidnapped before he left, I had tried to go back to sleep but it wasn't easy. I'd struggled to go to sleep and when I had finally succeeded on falling asleep, I was woken up with that horrible pain once more.Mika was really not stopping himself from hurting me. And the rest of the night, I was left to drown in my own dispair, tears and pain. When the pain finally stopped, I was left on the ground a whimpering mess and

Okla and I walked beside each other silently, a safe distance between us.She knew the way to the two silver poles better that I do. I could try to find it myself by following the direction Raphael took the day he chained me to the silver poles, but that day was too blurry that I'm certain I won't be able to find it."I'm sorry about last time." Okla whispered and I chanced a glance at her.She was looking straight ahead but I could tell that she was feeling really bad about something."What are you talking about?" I asked, keeping my voice low so I wouldn't alert that large man following behind us.Okla looked over her shoulder at the warrior before she returned her eyes to me. "If I knew about the rouges, I would have stopped you. I swear, I didn't know about the arrangements with the rouges because I don't go out for a run. I only found out yesterday." I looked at Okla and I could tell that her words were genuine."It's okay." I whispered but Okla shook her head."It's not okay.

chapter 18

Raphael Stars...My mind was traveling a million miles per second. Too much has been going on and I don't know which one I should give my attention to.After we found one of my warriors corpse, I took a few hours to think my next move and the only thing I could come up with was sending words out for Alpha Landor. It was an invitation to come to my pack so we could have a conversation like adults and not kill each other's wolves as sport.Because if I was to retaliate by hunting rouges down the it would mean an active war between our two packs.I had a lot on my mind.Haden's daughter, Silver's attraction to her, Luca's disgusting behaviour, my father's attitude towards Beatrice and now the rouge Alpha.I already knew that if he accepts the invitation, the next few days are going to be difficult.I did what I do best and kept to myself in my study, looking through the packs finances and other none member related issues. The send off ceremony worried me. I knew that I

chapter 19

Mina Wolf...I stepped backwards until my back hits the surface of the door. The large man standing in front of me tilted his head to the side as he assessed me, running his dark eyes up and down my entire body. His tongue peeked out to wet the corner of his lips."What's your name, sweetness?" He asked as he reached for his shirt and pulled it over his head, revealing scarred and heavily inked skin.I turned around and tried the door nob, aggressively twisting at it to open the door. But it didn't work.Gamma Luca had locked it from the out side.Turning back to the room, I stayed frozen in my spot with my back firmly pressed to the door.My panicked moves caused the man to bark out a hideous laugh."Nowhere to run?" He mockingly asked with another following laugh.Once he was done laughing, he trained his eyes on me and lifted his index finger to gesture me to come closer to him.I stayed by the door, wishing I could sink through it."Come here." The man ordered, his vo

chapter 20

Raphael Stars...Anger was boiling my body as I sat in my study, my elbows leaned against the edge of the desk.Waking up this morning to find the rouge Alpha Landor in my home was one thing. To have him sit around my dining table and suggest a night with Haden's daughter was another. As soon as he'd asked the question, my answer was no and it continued to be no through out the horrible breakfast. Landor did not back down from asking a night with her.'I will break her good for you.' He said.'She won't be the same after I'm done with her.' He said. Each time he spoke about her, my anger rose. The feral wolf in me stirred uncomfortably in my chest, adding more to my irritation.'You killed three of my wolves for Haden's daughter. I deserve to have my way with her.' He had tried to argue. 'I won't kill her. I'll make sure she lives to tell the tale of how it was to spend the night under a rouge.'That had been the last straw.I'd slammed my fist in to the dining table, lea
