~Sara~ After Cassie woke up and left Damian’s room, I walked out and overheard their heated conversation in Lucian’s chamber. I couldn’t eavesdrop because of the guards that stood at the door, but I heard them. Their voices were pretty loud and clear. I pretended to walk down the stairs when Queen Cassandra walked out of his chamber. Damian followed behind her, and they both entered her chamber. I walked up the stairs again and headed to Lucian’s chamber. I knew it was bad timing to go in there, but I needed to be close by, especially when he was in a turmoil of emotions.
