Lexi’s POV“Let me out!” I yelled, banging on the door with so much intensity and it didn’t take long for the door to swing open and the horrible face that I’d grown up to see revealed itself.“Bang on the door one more time and watch how I make life unbearable for you.” My stepfather snarled and I swallowed down hard.He always does this, he would lock me up in my room anytime I defied him and just like other days, I’d defied him today too.
