Can't Stop Thinking About Her

He couldn’t stop thinking about her even after school. As he drove home, he kept thinking about her and what he was going to do with the thoughts of her in his head. Chloe was beautiful, no doubt but that wasn’t the reason he was feeling this way towards her because that would be expandable. This feeling wasn’t something he could explain, because he didn’t even understand. Looking beside him, he glanced quickly at his brother and said. “Hey, Sander. I’m sorry but I need to make a quick stop somewhere. I need to get something important, and after I'll take you to get some ice cream.” He looked back on the road for a moment, then back at him. “Is that okay?” He asked.Sander nodded his head vigorously with a smile on his face. He could tell that the smile was because of the mention of the desert he loved. He had mentioned ice cream as motivation, and that could be an excuse for when Ally was at home and was wondering where they had gone to. He needed to make a stop at Darren Harper's

Better Stay That Way

Chloe hoped that today would be different and that she wouldn't have to run into drama like she did on her first day of school. Thankfully, she had a subject she knew she didn't share with Zach or his crew for the first period, so she hoped that by the time she would have one with them, he wouldn't be interested in her at all. She walked down the hall, her bag strap almost falling, so she adjusted it. It was really not heavy, because she had only taken the books she needed, not wanting to repeat the mistake she made at her former school, and ending up being the only person that brought a very heavy and ugly looking bag. The students loitered around the hall, some getting busy with their tongues down each other’s throats, some with their phones in their hands, and the others trying to get a thing or two from their locker and walking to their various classes, just like she was. She rounded the corner that led up to her class, and she was almost there when she suddenly felt someone g

"I won't stand for it"

Zach couldn't get her out of his head, and as he watched her leave, all he wanted was to grab her and pull her back. It took all the willpower in him to stop himself. He let out a breath, and then he adjusted the strap of his bag against his shoulder before walking out of the old classroom and finding his way to the new one.By the time he got there, the teacher was already there, but that was no surprising thing at all, as he always came into this class late. “It’s so nice of you to join us, Mr. Elliot-Day." Mr. Anderson said. People looked up from their books to stare at him, but none of them dared to laugh. They just couldn't.As usual, he just lifted a shoulder and sat down in his usual seat. He had never had any time for him, and he wasn't going to start now. Not when all he could think about was Chloe Miller. He hadn't been able to fall asleep last night after he spoke with her. He had no intention of asking her about whether or not she had a boyfriend, but something had pr

Giving Her Right Back

Sweat filled her palms as she walked back to the classroom, and she realized that her encounter with Zach had gotten her into this mess. “Oh, cut it out, Chloe.” She chastised herself. There was no way she would allow herself to be bothered like this when she was back at her old school, even though a thing like that had never happened to her. To be very honest, it seemed all so mind-blowing, with her heart in a race all the time, but still, she needed to get a hold of herself. That was the only way to survive this. It was like a movie though, being here with someone bullying her everywhere she turned in her new school and all she could think about was how quite handsome he looked. Okay, not quite handsome. Zach Elliot-Day was very handsome, and the problem was that he knew that. Behind her, someone slammed their locker door and she almost jumped out of her skin. She looked briefly over her shoulder before concentrating back on the road in front of her. The corridor seemed to have

Cafeteria Drama

Zach knew there was a reason he found her attractive, and it must be because of how spirited she was, and how so kind she was. He could tell that Chloe had been trying to be rude right back to Ms. Hannah because of how rude she was to her, but she couldn't even do that completely without her kindness showing through. If he was in her situation, and she had embarrassed him the way she did her, he would have made sure to call her work trash and tell her how annoying and so uncouth she sounded. He caught himself in a smile, and then he quickly got rid of it. Damn, this wasn’t the person he used to be, and even though he loved the way he was feeling, he thought it was best to be the no non-sense, unapproachable person that he was. He got into the bathroom to wash his hands just before he walked to the cafeteria, and someone hit his shoulders with theirs. The person had a baseball cap on his head so he really couldn't be sure of who he was, plus he couldn't see his face. Well, he wasn’

His Blood Boiling

“Are you going to the cafeteria?” Chloe heard someone ask behind her as she walked toward the cafeteria. She had just gone to drop her bag in her locker and was on her way to get food when she heard the question. At first, she thought that whoever it was, was probably asking someone else, but when she looked over her shoulder, she realized he was talking to her. The boy was tall, almost as tall as Zach was… wait, what? Why the heck was she comparing someone else to Zach Elliot-Day for crying out loud? If she didn't know any better, she would have sworn that she was starting to get obsessed with him. Slowly, she nodded her head. "Yes, I am.” She answered. He was tall as she had just noticed, and he had golden brown hair, and blue eyes that looked like the ocean. Well, really, they weren’t interesting eyes but they were blue nonetheless. She wondered who he was and why he was talking to her. She wondered what she wanted and whether or not his intentions were good. He walked toward

Feeling Alone And Empty

Trying to keep his hands to himself without touching her was hard, but he made sure to keep them in his pocket. He hated the way she was looking up at him with questions in her eyes, questions he wasn't even ready to answer. He had sent Dilan away, but he was still going to have to warn him off her. The fact that he was still getting a tight feeling in his chest even after he was gone and not in the vicinity she was in anymore didn’t even help. Chloe stood there looking up at him and waiting for him to say something, and then he remembered she had asked him a question, one he no longer remember. Instead of trying to remember though, or asking her what she had asked him, he said. "We should go. The school is almost empty except for the student in detention.”Chloe shook her head. "You didn't just say we now, did you?” she asked him, even though she clearly heard him. He watched as she walked to where her bag was and then she started to walk out of the class without him. Quickly, he

Making Friends

In the second period, Chloe was taking notes on the American Revolution when she heard a ping, and she realized it was her phone. She wondered who was texting her, and then she looked up at the teacher to see that she was busy looking at the board and not facing the class. Sighing, she quickly brought out her phone and she looked to see it was a text from her mother. She was telling her she had to pick up her brother from school because her father wouldn't be chanced, neither would she. She sighed and texted back okay, before replacing her phone in her bag. Who was she kidding? There was no one to text her anyway because she had no friends. It wasn't as if she had made any friends, and neither had she been able to talk to the one that spoke to her first; Dilan. After the incident with Zach, she had tried finding him after Chemistry class, but she realized he had left before she could gather her things. She had tried texting him, but he didn't reply, and she had just come to the con

Meeting More People

Camden grabbed Chloe in a hug as soon as he saw her, leaving his friend standing under the tree and waiting open-mouthed. “Hey, little one!” she said as she got out of his embrace. For a boy who was just eight years old, he sure was tall, but not at tall as she was, because he was only reaching her shoulder. Chloe wasn't a really tall girl, but she had long legs that seem like they went on forever, the keyword being "seem”. She smiled with a shake of her head when Camden look at her like she had just called him something bad. Well, to him, being referred to as little wasn't exactly a good thing either. There was nothing little about him anyway, especially not his brilliant big brain. “What are you doing here?” he asked her and that got her to smile again. If she didn't know any better, she would have sworn that he wasn't happy she was the one that turned up picking him up. It was the first time she was picking him up from here, but it definitely wasn't the first time she would be

Getting A Surprising News

Zach was filing off the last shred of furniture he was working on in his workspace when he heard his phone ring. Squinting his eyes, he dropped the filing machine after he turned it off and then he walked to the shelf where he had placed it before he started work. On the screen, he saw that it was Liam and he sighed. What the heck was he calling him for when he knew he always took his Wednesday afternoons more seriously than any other afternoon? Wednesday was the day his mother died, and he had always tried burying himself into work since then until he just made a habit out of it, and turned it into a thing. It was better working then than having to think about his mother and having his hurt and pain grip him like a glove, molded to his heart, and squeezing out the little life that was there. His shoulders went limp as he sighed and then he picked up the call, pressing the phone against his ear. "Hey, Liam. What's going on?” he asked. He knew better than to call him like this witho
