Chapter Twenty One - Revealed

Narrator's POVWorry had set in for the unlikely pair as both Natalie and Nolan were worried sick for two different reasons. Art, who was Nolan's wolf plunged into the woods and the only thought running through his head was Natalie, thus making his host unreachable. The wolf was angry and only wanted his mate by his side, not his friends or family, just her. He was running blindly, not knowing where his precious mate was. He charged deeply into the woods, trying to catch her scent. However, poor Natalie did not understand what was happening around the pack she resided in but she stayed cautious of the pack members of the Blue Mountain Pack pack just in case someone would attack them, so that she would be ready to leave without a second thought. Ryan was observant as he gazed at this unique she-wolf. He took note as she worried about something and he wondered what was going through that pretty little brain of hers. They both sat watching the warriors train. The young she-wolf really

Chapter Twenty Two - Fighting

Narrator's POV Natalie could hear the growls of her mate as warriors ran down the streets to secure the perimeters from a likely war. She started to panic, and she ran opposite of where the citizens were heading to and towards Alpha Aaron' house where she found the Alpha awaiting her with her bag and some and extra supplies. He gave a small smile as she took the bag and started to jog away. However, she was cut short when a firm hand gripped onto her forearm. She gasped when she saw that it was Alpha Aaron who gave her a stern look and dragged her inside his house and into his study. Natalie didn't understand why she was in the study until he let go of her arm, then he walked over to a shelf and looked through the books until he found a very old but well kept book and pulled it out for a mere second before pushing it back in. Natalie was confused as she did not understand what was happening until two bookshelves moved outwards which revealed a hidden staircase that led downwards.

Chapter Twenty Three - Soberness

Nolan WalterEverything in my body stung. The wounds in my sides and my fractured leg made the pain almost unbearable, but I hoped that my Alpha blood would heal my wounds quickly. Art was still trapped in my mind because he was still dazed by the sleeping drought since he was the one who was injected with it. However, I remained with little to no effects. My hands were bound with silver chains and I was trapped in a fairy large cage in the dungeons where Alpha Aaron kept me. I winced at the slight burn the silver had caused and everything around me seemed dull as there was no aura to be picked up. I was alone in this dungeon with only my wolf as a company, and I did not even wish to speak to him at this moment because he had caused a good amount of damage. My warriors were being kept in the infirmary and probably would soon to be let out and taken back to my pack where my Beta or brother would be in charge. I knew nothing about the whereabouts of my mate, but I longed to see her a

Chapter Twenty Four - Apologies

Natalie Grayson The beast's walls came crumbling down and his body was poised in a vulnerable position which showed that he was at his lowest point. His body shook with tears as all his sins came crumbling down upon him, guilt eating him alive. I stood, dumbfounded at the Alpha male who bowed down before a mere she-wolf, his sorrows clouding the room as dread filled me. There was no more fear in me as I saw Alpha Nolan cry in front of me. He muttered a few things only I could hear, his sorrow being carried to the Moon Goddess as he let himself become a shell of a man in just few seconds. "I am sorry for all the pain I caused you. I had no control of my wolf then, and I have little control of my wolf and anger now. I did not wish to harm you, Natalie but my anger was blinding me. I understand if you were to reject me, but I need to tell you something before anything happens," he told me and I stiffened as he looked at me with those blind eyes that I kind of liked. His once hard a

Chapter Twenty Five - Presenting A Case

Natalie GraysonThe hearing was today, and my feet tapped nervously against the wooden floor as I waited patiently in a large court where a few council members and Alphas sat. Alpha Nolan was going to be present once all the members of the council were here and then everyone would hear his side of the story along with that of the other witnesses including me. Since I was the victim in this case, I sat on one of the pedestals. I didn't know what would happen in this court, nor did I know anything about the law. I never paid attention in classes, anyway. My attire was very plain. I wore a dark blue blouse with light blue buttons and black suit pants which hugged my figure quite nicely. I also wore a pair of flat shoes because they were comfy and heels left blisters on my skin most of the time. I had spotted a few Alphas, including my pack's Alpha who sat several rows away from where I sat. A few Lunas and Betas were also present and they sat with their respective Alphas, while other

Chapter Twenty Six - Having Fun

Natalie GraysonIt was now a couple of hours after the hearing ended. After my amazing speech they dismissed the courtroom and the council members including the Alphas — besides Alpha Nolan — left to a different room where I was pretty sure they were going to discuss Alpha Nolan's fate before tomorrow when we would hear the council's decisions.I prayed earnestly to the Moon Goddess that my speech was moving enough to make the consequences of his actions a little less harsh than I was hoping. I was pacing around my room while Ryan was downstairs keeping a watch of the house as Alpha Aaron was away. I was still in the complete outfit that I wore in the courtroom but my shoes had been thrown somewhere around the room as I paced back and forth while nervousness was eating my insides. I was terrified for Alpha Nolan's fate even though he did some horrible things, but his past shed a new light on him and he deserved to be pardoned even if it was a little bit.My neck was throbbing less a

Chapter Twenty Seven - A Happy Moment

Nolan WalterMy wrists burned with every movement, and my body was slow and aching, while my mind was awake with a lot of thoughts. My wolf had fully healed from the effects of the sleeping drought so he was now wide awake and filled with anger and confusion. I had blocked him off during the first hour and was filled with loneliness and heartache. Natalie had defended me when I did not deserve it. I heard every word she spoke during the hearing, and as she was defending me, I couldn't be any more thankful. Hearing her voice that was laced with determination, worry and dread was something I could never forget, and since I could see her aura mixed with emotions, it told me that she was confused about her actions, her emotions and her thoughts. But she withheld some information from the council because she did not tell them about the days she spent with me in my house. However, when I told my point of view, I did not hold back any emotion and every stone was turned and faced the world.

Chapter Twenty Eight - Saying Goodbye

Natalie GraysonSparks were all I could feel. My body was accepting Alpha Nolan, while my mind and heart tried to comprehend what was happening. His touch was intoxicating, his smell was almost drowning me as I buried my head into the crook of his neck. My mark was tingling as he wrapped his strong arms around me, his head buried into my own neck as he shivered under my touch. My face was wet with happy tears because his punishment was one of the kindest punishments out there. The judge had listened to me and let his punishment be something that contributed to his health. I was happy and I felt content to know that he could feel my happiness. I allowed the bond to open up and reveal all my feelings to him. It wasn't love or even lust. It was just pure happiness that was in me as I hugged him. I knew his family was watching us, but I didn't care. All that mattered was that he was safe and in my arms. I was getting soft towards him in a matter of days, but I couldn't resist the pull

Chapter Twenty Nine - A Journey

Natalie GraysonIt was several days after Alpha Nolan's leave from Alpha Aaron's pack. It was Saturday and I was resting in my room, humming a human song I had started to like from the first time I heard it. The past few days had been quite boring, with Luna Martha teaching me about some Luna duties and showing me around the mansion. So far, I had learnt what the pack looked like, where the warriors usually had their meals, how to eat at the dinner table and so on. She had also shown me around the mansion and all I managed to remember was the Walter Library which was a very large library and it reminded me of the human movie, Beauty And The Beast' where the beast showed the girl his library and she instantly fell in love, just like me. The walls were plain white and had a lot of dimensions which created a cosy and comfortable aura. It was two floors high with glass panels as railings, and the books ranged from the earliest centuries all the way to this present century. It held huma

Chapter Thirty - Meeting Each Other

Nolan Walter The past few days had been filled with intense training and therapy, and both were helping me become as strong as my wolf side. I had been beaten, threatened and most of my days were filled with rage so I was able to learn how to control my wolf. Art hated every second of it. Every time I unblocked our connection, he started to growl and bark about how insulting it was to be treated like an omega and I knew that he wouldn't stop there so I ended up blocking him again and for almost the whole day. During therapy I was asked a lot of questions for my mental health. The therapist, who was one of the warriors of the pack was trying to unravel my past and was always trying to bring out the worst in me, which was the part of me I could not control. I was silent for the first two days before the rage and fuel was pumped into my blood and then I became a ranting and sweaty mess. Warrior Carl was very patient with me and constantly told me the same thing every time I was start
