Chapter 22: When Can I Return Home? Maisie's POV: There it is again. I know I'm hearing that strange noise again, but I'm not sure what it is. I know it is coming from that strange box beside me, but what exactly does it mean? When I wake up, I'll have to try and keep quiet. Chapter 24: Where Can I Hide? Maisie's POV: Well, that was a big mistake. I was in a whole lot of pain and there was nothing I could do about it. I started to rub both of my knees as they were in a lot of pain. I did not realize it was that far to reach the floor. Well, that was on top of the fact that I found out I could not stand up on my own two feet. I needed to get away as quickly as I could. I looked at the wire coming from my arm and followed it to a small box. I also noticed another wire coming from something covering my face. I pulled on it and it came off fairly easy. Chapter 28: Where Is She Hiding?Alpha King Caspian's POV:What exactly would I be able to get her to eat? It really made me wonder what she previously had to eat, considering her frail condition and how skinny she was. It made me wonder if she was able to eat anything other than just scraps left behind by other pack members. I had no telling if she could even eat at all. I thought about it for a moment as I walked down the hall toward the Aid Station. I waited for one of the Aides to finish reading what they had written before they were able to look up at me. Chapter 30: We Are Leaving, Today! Alpha King Caspian's POV: I looked forward to being able to take our Mate home today. That way, she can get some much-needed rest and not have to worry about random people coming and going as they, well, please. That is, as the doctor and Aides usually do in the Imperial Clinic. However, I did not want our Mate to be scared during the time she will require to completely heal from this whole ordeal. It might cause complications in her healing, causing it to take longer for her to get better. At home, I knew who would be the one coming and going from our room, and that one person would be me and me alone. I was very well capable of tending to her all on my own. All I need to do now was to take her out of this place so we could go home to where she really belonged and would be safe. And at that, feel safe and not scared of who might walk in at any time.
