#Chapter112I walked over to the balcony doors and peered out. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing; it was going to be a beautiful day. So I decided to go out onto the balcony and enjoy a bit of fresh air while I waited for Cain. I loved the outdoors; it brought me peace, calmness and serenity, just as it did my wolf, causing her to chuff in approval. #Chapter116After a long and busy day, I decided to have a nice, relaxing bath, needing to wash the day away. I soaked in the large tub until my fingers started to prune, warning me to get out before I looked like a shrivelled-up piece of fruit. I stepped out of the tub, dried myself and threw on my white nightgown.I entered the bedroom and saw that Cain was back; he was sitting in one of the chairs by the fire. I quickly put my hands behind my back, making it appear as if I was still bound. The door opened with a bang, and in walked Demetrius, with a sly grin plastered on his stupid face. He cocked a brow. “Oh, your finally awake, Mrs. Sleepy head.”“Where the fuck am I?” I spat. Demetrius tsked at me and waved his index finger. “Temper, temper. I suggest you cool that temper before he comes to greet you; he won’t be as kind towards you as I am.” He said in a severe tone. I raised a brow. “Before who comes?” I asked hesitantly. “Our coven leader, Lazarus.” He clasped his hands together. “He is absolutely dying to meet you.” Demetrius grinned. I narrowed my eyes at him. “Well, I’m not so eager to meet him, and he will just have to wait.”He tilted his head to the side. “Oh, and why is that?” He said with curiosity.
