Willy Wilkerson alone. He makes the sound of having fluid filling his lungs. It could be pneumonia. Ural also appears to be becoming conscious again. Was Ural present? Unconscious! Lelandi grunted as she spoke. Deputy Trevor came here for that reason. Darien and his troops, be damned.Lelandi didn’t move when the doctor and Ritka passed the office. When they arrived in the examination room, Dr Oliver addressed Mrs. Wilkerson. Willy will soon be on medication and feeling better.Refiling her sister’s medical paperwork, Lelandi left the room. She was going to visit her cousin and learn what they had done to him, whether or not Trevor liked it.As the door slowly opened, Lelandi’s heart almost stopped. But Doc wasn’t there.Joe Kelly quickly in and closed the door. His coat, whiskers, and hair were all covered in snow, and his eyes had a crazy appearance. Trying to locate Larissa’s file? Lelandi was told to lean against the wall while he drew a revolver from his waist. She experienced an

On the opposite side of the mountain, Joe hauled her up. He called out to her, “Climb.”She objected. Her temple was the target of his gunshot. You can’t be saved by Darien in this situation. They wouldn’t get there in time to remove a bullet if I shot it in your gorgeous head. So go up. It is your only chance. She fought to ascend, clenching her teeth, her wet garments sticking to her like ice Saran Wrap, her hands numb from the chilly water. He said, “Go up straight.”She looked up but was unable to see the direction he was planning to lead her. They were not able to climb mountains all day. Unless… She gave him another look. He was dozing off to her right while she was doing so.“Go!”Unless a cave was located above. She resumed her ascent. Maybe the place he had taken Larissa in secret? For shooting Doc and Ritka, Lelandi planned to kill the cretin and eat her meal.Men shouted on the ridge coming from the town’s direction. She was under attack by Darien and his troops. Joe’s expr

From his brothers and thirty of his men blocked. After the initial explosion that shook the mountain, Additional stones started to fall. Darien massaged his eyes so he could see the mess he was in and choked on the dust. He was the only person to enter the tunnel because it was blocked by rocks. He yelled, hoping to hell no one had been trapped in the slide, “Everyone all right out there?”“We’re alright,” yelled Jake. You?”Fiercely irate. “Good here,”In an effort to learn where Joe Kelly and Lelandi were, he listened for any sounds. Nothing. Darien could at least still pursue them.We could move the rocks, but it will take hours, boss, Sam said from the other side of the obstruction. We used to enter in a different method, Mason and I. more easier on the knees.Show the men, Darien demanded angrily. As soon as he got his hands on that son of a bitch, he would kill him. If he had hurt Lelandi in any way…We’ll see you on the other side, but for the love of God, Darien, don’t get yo

I was so worried that the rockslide might kill you, your brothers, or some of the rest of your people.Darien pinned her against him while warming her body, stroking her arms, and kissing her on the lips and cheeks. “Everyone is OK. Everything is fine. A gash that had gone through to her eyebrow on the left side of her temple was swelled, crimson, and the blood was already drying along its seam. Darien remarked, wiping away her damaged hair, “That son of a bitch.”She remained silent, perhaps in astonishment. Despite the fact that the chilly cave was starting to wear on him, he tried to warm her by holding her close to his body. And that’s when he saw the glass in her hair. Lelandi, did Joe throw a glass at you?She appeared as though she may become ill. He uses his pistol. She stopped and fixed her gaze below. Before that, I was in an accident, I said. You damaged the SUV, right? Her eyes were blurry from recent crying as she nodded. He exhaled and gave her another strong embrace. “W

Darn it, Lelandi, I won’t let you put yourself in such risky circumstances while you’re looking for your sister’s murderer. She squeezed and released his buttocks while running her nails down his back. He let out a gruff groan and immediately gave in. “Well, OK. When you want to look into something or someone, just let me know and I’ll make sure you’re protected. She grinned secretly and grew to adore him even more.He grinned lustily as the moist tip of his erection protruded against her mound. His gaze grew more intense when she first started to rub against him, and he reached up to touch her breasts. “Darien, you may work as a masseur for hire.”He continued, his voice rough, “Just one body I’d be interested in massaging. “How much longer are you going to abuse me?”He plunged his fingers deep before she had a chance to speak, pressing his fingers between her legs, parting her folds. His damp hands caressed her sensitive skin. While his tongue danced around her nipples, coaxing the

Routine operations. Everyone acted accordingly as Sam planned the drinks in the dining room, Tom planned the side dishes, Jake oversaw the turkey deliveries, and Lelandi, Carol, and Silva completed the pie making. Lelandi’s stomach grumbled as the aroma of roasted turkey and gravy filled the air, but she didn’t believe she would be able to eat because she was so tense. The table was in an alcove in the kitchen, and Carol gazed out the window. Snow continues to fall. The ski season in Silver Town will be the finest in the past five years.Lelandi was given a suspicious glance by Silva, but despite seeing it, she chose not to respond. Everyone was smiling politely, and there was no discussion of the purpose for the feast—only the weather, a hunt, and some whispered rumors about Sam and Silva. Lelandi was certain that those discussions had already taken place in private.Lelandi was greeted with a smile by Darien as he entered the kitchen and raised his arms above his head.Silva mumbled

Then dessert once more.A few brown sugar crystals gleamed on his chest as he rolled off of her. He assisted her off the table and wiped the flour off her back after she licked them up. She muttered, “We’re a mess,” her face flushed from effort. He grinned wolfishly at her. “You received the brunt of it.” She moaned as he removed the flour from her hair. “At least the cinnamon granules are gone from the hue of your hair.” She looked at him angrily. “The next time, I win.You may have cinnamon, sugar, and flour all over you. He helped her dress while grinning. “I’m in.”He touched her belly. I know Carol thinks we’re going to have triplets.“Conjecture.”“Right. She won’t, though, say what sex they are.Lelandi was happy that Carol believed she was pregnant, but she still had trouble believing Carol could actually know such a thing. She shook more flour and sugar out of her hair.He gave her a forehead kiss. “I invited your parents, brother, and uncle to the feast. Ural was dragged alo

Carol possesses a second sight. Renewed inaudible talk.In the vision, she did not see Trevor but rather another man who removed the chair from under Larissa’s feet so that she could choke herself to death.Being the pack leader’s mate, Lelandi had to maintain her strength, so Darien held onto her when she was about to pass out. She choked back her tears, wishing for them to hold off.Carol told me that her visions weren’t always clear. He did, however, wear a police uniform.Sheridan spoke the word “Trevor” in a loud voice.“At first, Carol believed that because all the evidence pointed to him. She nevertheless touched the rope that the killer had formed into a noose. Uncle Sheridan, you were that man. You killed my mate, who was an embarrassment to the pack because she was already mated and carrying another gray’s offspring, and then you went on vacation believing you’d done the ideal crime. But, you had not anticipated Larissa starting a family. A sister would arrive to get revenge

Lelandi recognized Sheridan as the stalker as soon as she saw him dressed in his wolf coat. It’s a shame the pickup did not run him off the road. The majority of people loped outside into the winter landscape in their wolf forms, where the snow’s upper layer was crisp and enormous snowflakes were drifting earthward. Lelandi reasoned that Sheridan wouldn’t slide through the snow like a moose or elk might, slowing him down, despite his greater size, since wolves had an edge over larger animals on deeply crusted snow. Although she had some optimism.Carol didn’t shapeshift since she wasn’t prepared to watch another bloody conflict with the wolf pack. She might have been scared of becoming wolf or of being attacked by another wolf again. Carol sat by his side as Lelandi’s father, who remained in his wheelchair, observed out the sunroom window. She was aware that he had lost the ability to shapeshift since the accident, that he struggled with sadness, and that he frequently wished he had p
