GRAND WEDDING 2

There was a knock on the door, and Sarah went to tend to it.A maid eavesdropped into her ears, she nodded and shut the door."Her Highness, it's time." She said walking up to me, wearing some jewelry on both my wrists and my neck. I walked out of the room, following Sarah as she led the way. She held my hand as we descended the stairs leading to the passage. We met a young man standing at the exit, I had no idea what signs they exchanged but he nodded and opened the exit door leading to the garage."He is the driver," Sarah whispered into my ears. They were up to seventeen designer cars I had never seen in my life. The driver walked faster, then opened the limousine for me, carefully held up my dress, and I hopped in.Sarah sat in the front seat with him as he started the limousine, then drove out of the castle.I wondered where everyone was because, while strolling out, the castle looked empty. The driver drove into a place that looked so familiar... It was the hall where I got rej

CHAPTER 12: IN THE KING'S ROOM

After the ceremony, we rode home in silence. I hated it because it made me nervous but it gave me time to think about what I was going to give Horace as a response. Twenty four hours was already coming to an end. Then, I remembered the wedding consummation. A guy had never come close to me not to even think of touching me before, my mother made sure of that, and now I would be giving it to a man I really have feelings for. I wasn't scared but I just hoped he would accept me more. There's still more I want and hope for... even though he had just let go of Candra, I knew she was definitely going to come back. "All these ceremonies aren't worth it," Horace said as he broke the silence. "What do you mean?" I asked turning around in a comfortable way so I could see his face. "If Gavner decides to claim you back... I'm afraid he can do so," Horace said, as we locked our eyes, I could see the softness for me right there in his eyes. Even though he wasn't as bad as his elder brother, h

He walked up, closing the distance between us. "Have you thought about it?" He asked, and I nodded my head."Yes," I took a deep breath and stood up. His eyes glittered despite the darkness of the room, and I turned on the chandelier light."I want you to be romantically and emotionally attached to me; I want you to treat me like that one special woman in your life." I said as I unbuttoned one of his collar buttons, making him stare at me.His hot breath sank into my skin, sending shivers down my spine.Placing my hand on the left side of my neck, I said, "I want you to sink your teeth and mark me right here and make me yours; I want and need you, Horace," I said, my eyes not leaving his. I could feel the moisture forming in my eyes.He placed his hand on my waist, drawing me closer to him, and his other hand on my jaw. Our breathing hastened. “Have you ever kissed anyone?”I said still standing. “No.”“If you want me to do things to you...” he paused. "I will,"My cheeks were a nice

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

I shut my eyes tight; I couldn't explain what I felt. Grabbing my arm, he dragged me into a room and shut the door. "What are you doing?" I asked him, trying to push him away, but he was too muscular and I couldn't. "I am helping my brother," Gavner said. "I'm going to mark you right here," he added as his fingers caressed my neck. "Stop this Gavner; you rejected me," I said, slipping out of him as I rushed to the door. "Did you think I would let you off that easily? Huh?" He asked, his eyes widening, and I huddled in the corner. Did he just say let me off easily? He openly rejected me and almost sold me off. I ran my hand through my hair as I rubbed my eyes. I was feeling dizzy. "Gavner, stop this." I jerked away from him. He took a few steps up to me, stretching his hand behind me. He undid my ponytail and buried his face inside my hair. I cringed, pushing him away, but he pulled me into his arms, hugging me tightly. "Watch and see how I steal you away from him; you are s

I stood still, waiting for a response from him, but he did not say a word to me. I stared into his eyes, and I knew that he would not let Nora go that easily. "You left her in her bridal dress.. so I wanted to help her take it off." Gavner said nonchalantly to piss me off; his whole face lit up, smiling at me. I gave him a dirty look, grimacing, and clenched my fist by my side so I wouldn't have to throw a few punches in his face. "Why would you want to do that?" I asked as a vein popped out in my neck. My brother was really pissing me off, and I hated it; he clearly rejected her. My instincts kept on telling me that Gavner would never leave Nora, but now why would he want to mark her? All the while, he was trying to play dirty with her, and I stood right outside the door watching him. I knew he was aware that I was there, but he kept on playing that dirty game of his. Was he warning me? He wanted to let me know that he could take her away from me. I haven't marked her as wel

Nora looked up, facing me fully. "Do you?" she asked, her voice thick with emotion."Do you really care about me, Horace?"I took a step closer to her, reaching out to take her hand. "More than anything," I said, my voice full of conviction and assurance. "I care about you more than anything in this world."Pulling her closer to me, "I will never leave you again," I said, my eyes locking with hers. "You're my mate, and I'll do anything to keep you safe."Her eyes filled with tears as she looked down at me. "I forgive you," she said, her eyes staring deeply into mine. After a moment, she nodded, and I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I pulled her into my arms, holding her tightly."I promise, I will always be here for you," I whispered in her ear."I'll never leave you like that again, no matter what."I smiled, relief washing over me even though I had decided not to bring up her encounter with Gavner. I trust her in everything.Gavner was getting on my nerves, and I had to be fast

Now, as I looked at Lenora, I could see the love and adoration in her eyes as she gazed up at Horace. CHAPTER NINETEEN

"I have waited for many years, yet my brother has rejected three mates but me... I got no one. Mother, I'm getting old," Horace said, his voice direct.Horace took a deep breath and let it out slowly before responding. "I couldn't stand to see her suffer," he said, his voice low and serious. "She was heartbroken, and I knew she deserved better than to be cast aside like that."Queen Naida regarded her son for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered his words. "I understand your compassion, my son," she said finally. "But you must realize that your brother may not take it likely, nor will he understand it from your point of view.""Do you realize the cold she felt from the rejection? The pack rejected her, and they all agreed when he wanted to sell her off."At this point, I knew he lied because I was especially hot.But then I began to think about why I was hot instead of cold. "Come here and sit beside me." He pointed at the couch, which was opposite the Queen. "Sarah, prepare a warm bath for my son's mate. She looks worn off," Queen Naida said, as my eyes widened in shock. I turned and stared at Horace. "Is that true?" "No, it's not," I said, whispering. Closing the little distance between us, he drew closer to my ear, his breath tickling my inner nerves, "Don't worry, she's always like that; she has always wanted to do it whenever I got a mate." He whispered softly. "I will do just that, My Queen," Sarah said as she turned around and strode out of the room. "Son, have you noticed anything strange happening in the pack lately?" Queen Naida asked, her voice low and cautious. It was said that the grand Luna of every pack has keen senses and always notices any unusual activity among the pack members before the Alpha does, and I guess that's true because I was certain Horace wasn't aware of this one. Horace tilted his head, his bright eyes wide with cu
