Five years ago Ruby smiled as she sat in her room with her phone in her face, as she talked to her parents. They were coming from the airport after a week in China. They had both traveled for work and would be home any time soon. A twenty year old Ruby was happy about this because she had missed them. She had not been at home when they left.
