I had never imagined that Kael could go to such extent to achieve his evil plans. I was so stupid to have fallen for the trap that was set for me by Kael. I struggled to get loose from their grip. “Get the Diazepam Injection. Hurry!” a doctor said to one of the nurses. I was still struggling with the doctors when the nurse returned with a syringe and a tiny bottle. She opened the pack of the syringe and injected the liquid on the tiny bottle into the syringe. Talon’s P.O.VI woke up with a throbbing headache and groaned. I couldn't remember what had happened the previous night, but the sight of me curled up in Naya's hand was a surprise. I moved, and she woke up immediately. The atmosphere between us was tense. Naya broke the tension when she got up and fetched some aspirin for me. I watched her show me nothing but niceness despite all my actions towards her. I felt bad for the way I had been treating her.“Naya,” I said. “You need to get some rest! Talon’s P.O.VMy phone rang and when I checked who the caller was, it was my dad. I carefully removed Naya from my arms and left her on the bed. I didn’t want to wake her up, so I left the room.“Good day, dad,” I said when I picked the call.“Good day. How’s Naya?”“She’s fine.”“Good to know!”“Yeah.”“When are y’all coming home?"“Dad, we wouldn’t be coming home anytime soon.”“Why?”“Naya’s injuries are severe. She still needs time to heal.
