  LUNCH WITH THE TWINS DRAKE'S POV Rufus was ready in no time, and we had to wait for Jasmine to get dressed and it took her almost forever. "My sister takes her time to dress up. She has to make sure her hair is in place and her chains and everything must be perfect." Rufus chuckled and I could not hide my smile. "Here comes the princess," Rufus announced some minutes later and his sister scowled at him before apologizing for keeping us waiting.     PLANNING FOR HALLOWEEN    DRAKE'S POV   Years back before Kate became Mark's beta and came to stay with him in the black wood pack we used to have only one festival and that was the full moon festival. The Halloween party was not a part of our yearly celebration but Kate talked about it and convinced me to hold the celebration she reasoned that since the hunting was done by those that have wolves and have shifted and the after party was usually held later at night and the kids could not attend that it would be nice to hold an inclusive event and everyone could attend.   I liked her idea and discussed it with my beta and they too bought in on the idea.   KIDNAPPED DRAKE'S POV Caleb and Damien were part of my trusted security team, they had every detail of the pack and its surrounding woods at the tip of their hands.   MY NEW PACK  KATE'S POV The Blackwood pack welcomed me immediately as Mark's mate and made me feel like a member of the pack. The Alpha of the pack, Alpha Drake was nice to me too and I loved how he interacted with members of his pack. Mark my mate was the second beta of his pack and this meant he was a high-ranking member of the council. At first, this pleased me a lot. As the mate of a beta you get honorary positions and duties, however, it also occurred to me that I would be scrutinized a lot and my secret would be discovered.
