Chapter 30: The Confrontation

ADY "Ady, wake up." Most of the time, I don't skip classes, but what those girls did to me earlier made me not want to go to my morning classes. I'm not going to class today because of this bad guy, Damon. We were supposed to be leaving school, but it appears we will be spending the day in the library. But it's okay; the library is cold and quiet, which is why I fell asleep. First, I opened my eyes, then I rubbed the back of my hand over my lips to wipe away the spit. Then I stretched my arms out wide. I asked, "Is it already night?" Someone chuckled. "Not yet, but lunch is coming up. Come on over for lunch." Damon looked at me while he sat down next to me. That reddened my face. Stretching my arms and rubbing saliva on my lips while I slept made me look like an idiot. I forgot Damon was with me. "You're turning pink..." Damon said. "Always be yourself. You're adorable." "Cute, my feet!" I snarled at him. "Oh, you might have taken a picture of me?" "What's the point?" He asked

Chapter 31: Friends Parted Ways

ADY 'One, two, three, four, five...' What Jasper did shocked me. It was only a few seconds, but I thought my bones were melting. My knee got weak, so I might have fallen if Jasper wasn't keeping me upright. Although it had been some time since our first kiss, the way he affected me was entirely different. Despite the lengthy duration of Damon's kiss, those five seconds were the most memorable. “Damn it, my love! Kissing you over and over again is something I will never find boring. I like how you responded." Jasper whispered to me. Even though I was tired, I pushed Jasper. "Uh, why are you using kisses without permission? In any case," I turned around. "So many people saw us! It's embarrassing." "We didn't make out; it was just a kiss. There's no way to call it a kiss." I asked with a frown, "What?" "They say kissing takes a long time, but all I did was smack. We seem to have drunk the same water bottle. It didn't end well." "And now you're still upset after sneaking a kiss?" L

Chapter 32: Dimitri

ADY"It seems like you're feeling down because you're not receiving enough kisses, my love. Do you fancy a smooch from me? I have a knack for kissing, and I'm sure you're aware of it."I turned to Jasper, who was standing by me on the porch, overlooking the beautiful landscape."So, if I understand correctly, you're suggesting that being sad implies a shortage of kisses?" I asked Jasper with a playful giggle.Jasper had a smug expression on his face. "Certainly, exclusively for you.""Oh, you're referring to me?"Jasper reached out and gently placed his hand on my shoulder, catching me off guard. He drew me nearer to him. He had his strong arms wrapped around me, and his face was close to my ear as he stood behind me. If I make a wrong turn, a kiss might just happen."What are you up to, Jasper?" I asked him. "You. I think you're taking advantage of my kindness."Jasper let out a small laugh, but my words didn't seem to have any effect on him. "I'm right here, giving you a warm embrace

Chapter 33: The Search Plan

ADY “Don’t stress over Elsa’s words. If she doesn’t want you to be her friend, you don’t have to be. Hey there, feel free to be whoever you want to be. Just know that I’ll make sure of one thing for you. Okay, I’m here to listen.” Jasper’s words brought a smile to my face. He received the helmet from me. I just arrived back at our place, and it’s gotten a little late. It’s a whole different experience being home with Grandma, even though we already informed her earlier. Jasper grabbed the helmet. “Aren’t I just the sweetest?” Jasper had a big smile on his face. I chuckled. “Aw, you’re so sweet.” Wow, it seems like you’re quite popular with the ladies. “Well, it seems like there are still some things left undone.” I chose not to respond to his comment, but I greeted him with a smile. “Hey Jas, I just wanted to say thanks for tonight. That brightened my day.” “Small stuff. Feel free to open up and share anything that’s been on your mind. I’m here to lend an ear and help lighten yo

Chapter 34: The End of Friendship

ADY “Good morning, my love!” As I left the house, Jasper greeted me, which caught me off guard. I put the tip of my canister on Jasper’s chest before he could get close. His arms were open like he was going to hug me. “Oh, my love! I wanted to say good morning.” Jasper smiled and put his hand on his head. While resting the end of the canister against his chest, I pushed him. Jasper stepped back and smiled as he looked at me. I adored the way his attractive eyes made me smile seductively with his signature half-smile. ‘Lord, don’t do this. I have a crush on this guy, but please don’t do this. I don’t want him to figure it out.’ I growled, “Stop looking, Jasper,” and pretended to be annoyed by what he was doing by changing my behavior. “I just want to stare at you. It would make my day better if you smiled at me. It’s fine even without coffee.” I just can’t help but giggle. “You’re crazy.” “Oh, crap, it hurt.” Come on!” While leaning against his motorbike, Jasper imagined that s

Chapter 35: The Search Start

ADY“You haven’t said anything in a while. Are you sick?”When Jasper touched my face and neck, I was stunned. Auntie and Mom do that when I’m not in the mood to do anything. It confuses me why and how they can tell if someone has a fever by touching their face or neck.“Oh my gosh, I’m not sick,” I said.At that moment, Jasper pulled over to the side of the road. He stated he was hungry, so we had to eat. I took the cup with the food from Jasper. It was mixed with a sauce that was both sweet and hot.“However, you haven’t been feeling inclined lately. You probably don’t want to be with me.” Jasper said.“I have something on my mind. I want you to be with me." After saying it, I realized what I had done, and my blood rushed to my head. I could feel my face getting hot. It looked like Jasper was smiling big as he looked at me.“Haist, don’t stare. I’m not comfy,” I say.Despite not saying anything, I could still feel Jasper’s eyes.“Don’t stare,” I told him. I pinched Jasper on the side

Chapter 36: The Nightmare

DAMON“Good night, mom.”As I rubbed her foot, she fell asleep, so I took her to her room. And even though she couldn’t hear me anymore, I said that and kissed her on the cheek. After that, I left the room. When I closed the door, I took a deep breath.I looked at Mom’s room door for a while. “Mom, is there something you’re not telling me that makes it hard for you to talk about them?”I stood in front of my mom’s bedroom door for a long time, but I don’t remember how long. Getting ready to leave, I went to the living room to get some wine and pour it into a glass. After that, I went to my room. From the balcony of my room, I could see the whole city. It looked like there were stars in the sky in the lights from the poles, cars, homes, and businesses.Mama put up a house up high. Also, it takes about 45 minutes to get to the city from here. Mama liked being close to nature and away from the city.I thought about Ady all of a sudden. I could have gone to her room, but I chose to stay aw

Chapter 37: The First Date

DAMON “Okay, I’ll go with you.” When Ady said that, I looked at her. I was sure she would disagree. I know what she went through there. “Why do you look at me that way? Have you thought about it again?” Ady asked me when she saw that I was looking at her. I said, “Of course not. Being with you is better because you know that place. It won’t take long for me to check.” Ady nodded. She didn’t ask me anything, which I thought she would. She did nothing during the whole class period. When class was over and noon came around, I quickly asked Ady to join me in the restaurant. She smiled at me and said, “Okay.” As soon as we got up, we went straight to the door. But Elsa went ahead with her new friends, our students. She hit Ady on purpose. I don’t know. If I hadn’t pulled Ady right away, her body would have hit the doorjamb. “Elsa, could you be careful? Other people are leaving too.” We turned around when one of our female friends spoke, but Ady crashed into the doorjamb when I tri

Chapter 38: The Movie Theater

ADY “You’re watching scary movies, right?” When Jasper said that out of the blue, I looked at him. I didn’t know what movie he had bought or what we were going to see, so when he told me it was a scary movie, I was shocked. “What?” Jasper smiled when he saw how I felt. “My body is free if you are scared. I’ll let you hug me.” “Hey, I’m going.” He was about to let go of my hand when I stood up. Both the heat from his hand and the wind from the air conditioner gave me chills. “I was just kidding,” Jasper said. I sat down again after looking at him. “The movie is about to start. Let’s have fun, all right?” I just sat down and didn’t say anything. *** Jasper picks a scary love story. I don’t know what movie we watched because he picked it. I could feel Jasper hug me. My hand was in one of his hands. I didn’t even say no because Jasper was calm and didn’t seem to be up to any mischief. The place where we were sitting was cold because it was near the air conditioner. Jasper’s soft

Chapter 39: Travel Back to the Past

ADY 'H-he's handsome.' I couldn't take my eyes off Jasper as I descended the stairs. He was standing near the kitchen while talking to Grandma. I almost didn't recognize him. He wore a striped blue polo shirt that was slightly rolled up to the elbow, royal blue shorts, and white shoes. His muscular chest also shows. It looks like he just took a bath because his hair is still well-combed. It surprised me when Jasper walked up to me with a grin from ear to ear and put one hand on my chin. I frowned. He smiled and said, "You're drooling, my love." "Haist." I drove his hand away from me. He just laughed about what I did. "I like your legs a lot, my love. May I touch them?" Jasper said, and he quickly moved his hand. I hurried off, and he laughed again. "You pervert." I scoff at him. "Uh, I want to touch. It might be a fake." "Fake your foot. My legs are not fake." "Really? There is only one way to prove it; let me touch it..." "Grannie, look at Jasper. He's acting like a pervert
