Alpha Oswald was seated in his office when he suddenly heard a noise outside the pack house. His brows which were beaded with confusion made it more obvious that he was confused as to why the noise was getting louder. “What’s happening?” He managed to ask Xavier who shrugged confusingly and stood with the intention of going outside so he can check what was causing the noise. He took a few steps towards the door, but Xavier suddenly held his hand stopping him from moving forward again. “What is it?” He snapped and Xavier shook his head. “You’re not supposed to leave here, what if it’s an attack in which the Assassins are targeting you?” Xavier asked and Alpha Oswald saw reasons in what Xavier said, then he saw reasons why he should sit back. “If it’s not serious then, we should be expecting the guards,” He said and Alpha Oswald nodded, before sitting on his seat. His heart pounded heavily against his rib cage and he sighed tiredly thinking of how to find out what was going on.
