81. A step closer

Enzo stepped out of the airplane with just a small bag. His flight had just landed some seconds ago. He walked away from the arrival terminal to the area where he would get a taxi to his hotel. He had gotten a call from his friends in the UK saying they had information on the black scorpione the previous night so he had to take an early morning flight to the UK the next morning. It wasn't something that could be shared over the phone or the internet so he had to be there.“Wagwan, bro,” he had heard Miguel's voice as soon as he picked up the call. Miguel spent most of his years in the hood of London. He was a certified street brother and had affiliations with most of the London gangs.“All good, man. How is it going over there?” Enzo replied. It's been quite a while since he last heard from Miguel or any one of them.“We good, fam,” Miguel responded and he nodded even though he knew Miguel couldn't see it. “You know, Jack and I just found information on that stuff you asked us about.

82. Friendship.

“This is Damian. He'll be working with you on the case.” the guy with the English accent introduced and Romano thought he hadn't heard well.“What!” he exclaimed with a visibly angry tone. He knew they had threatened to bring in someone else but he didn't think they would work on it. He had told them he was capable of handling the case alone. Guess they didn't believe him.“It seems you were incapable of handling the case alone so we thought it best to bring in someone to help.” the Italian guy tried to pacify even though it was not necessary. All this while, the Damian in question remained quiet, his face still hidden under the hoodie.“I told you I could handle this, didn't I?” he asked with gritted teeth, feeling betrayed.“It didn't seem like you could. We have to do what's best for us.” the English replied and flashed him an annoying smile. Romano knew he was trying to annoy him but he didn't budge.“Nice to meet you, Damian. I'm the famous Romano Rossi you must have been hearing

83. unraveled

Enzo took the only free seat in front of Jack, uncapped the wine, and turned a quantity into his glass. He took a sip from his glass of wine and nodded in appreciation. It was still the same luxurious taste. They drank in silence, each person waiting for the other to break the silence. After Enzo emptied his glass, he kept it aside and turned to the gentlemen who had invited him to the country. “So what do you have for me?” he asked, focusing his attention on Jack. Jack and Miguel both made eye contact and Miguel shrugged before Jack sighed. He opened up his laptop and input the lock code. He typed on some buttons before turning the laptop to Enzo. Enzo stared at the screen. There were pictures of three elderly men displayed on it.“These are the men we are looking for. Mancini Costa, Gallo Esposito, and Tom Smith,” Jack began. “There are the leaders of the black scorpione set. Two Italians and a British man. The research we carried out shows that Tom was arrested and served prison ti

84. The dinner

Enzo took the first flight back to Italy the next morning. After thinking deeply about it, he was convinced the black scorpione was responsible for making him grow as an orphan. They were in Italy, and he was going to find them. They spent over three hours at Jack's office discussing the case and had gone to the bar to catch a drink after. Jack had canceled all his meetings for the day so the three friends had the rest of the day to themselves. ****Giovanni drove into Cielo's apartment and turned off the engine of the car, choosing to remain inside. He picked up his phone to make a call when he heard Cielo's front door open and she stepped out, looking very beautiful in her dress. She was dressed in a long black sleeveless dinner gown that went down to her ankle with a long slit from her thigh downward. The gown had a deep neckline that exposed some part of her round fleshy boobs. He dropped the phone and stared at every detail about her. She was dressed beautifully, he couldn't den

85. Something more.

This chapter is rated 18+“I know of seven,” he muttered before claiming her lips in a kiss. The kiss was fierce and demanding. One of his hands was secured tightly around her waist as he went in for the kiss. He sucked on her lower lips, making her moan loudly. He sucked on her tongue, earning another moan from her. His other hand went down to her ass and he grabbed it. The sudden action made her yelp in pain and pleasure. His hands went behind her gown, searching for the zipper. He found it some seconds later and he traced it with his fingers before unzipping it. He helped her get out of the dress before throwing it to the floor some distance away. He stared at her under the dim lightning. She was now left with only a black thong and no bra, leaving her big round boobs open for his eyes to feed on.“You are sexy as fuck.” he exclaimed, more to himself than to her. His eyes ran over her exposed body hungrily, lingering on her boobs and legs. He pulled her closer, covering the distan

86. Saving Giovanni

Early the next morning, Cielo woke up on Giovanni's bed. She tossed and turned to the side and couldn't see Giovanni beside her so she yawned and got out of the bed. She walked naked into the bathroom and washed her face before brushing her teeth. She walked into Giovanni's closet and picked out one of his shirts, big enough to cover up to her thighs, and wore it before walking out of the room. She could barely remember how she got to the bedroom last night. She could only remember them fucking on the couch and now she woke up on the bed. The sex last night was one of the best sex she had in her entire life. She blushed as she remembered the details. She walked downstairs and was greeted by the smell of bacon and cheese coming from the dining room.“I was beginning to think you wouldn't wake up,” Giovanni jokes, watching her walk toward the table.“What is the time?” she asked, looking around for a clock or anything that could tell the time.“It is some minutes to eleven,” Giovanni re

87. Meeting the anon.

The hug lasted for more than a minute before they pulled away. They held each other's arms, looking at each other's faces tenderly. A tear slipped down Cielo's face and she wiped it with the back of her palm.“Are you hurt?” she asked with a cracked voice.“I'm fine,” he replied calmly. He walked closer to the attacker's car, opened the door, and stared at his face before closing it. He just confirmed that it wasn't Romano who attacked him, so who was he? The face looked strange and foreign. His mind raced in thoughts. Maybe it was the institution. He still had to find out.“How did you find me?” he asked, returning to where Cielo stood. It still baffled him how she was able to find out where he was, or had she been following him?“Long story short, I traced your location when you weren't picking up calls. Something seemed off so I decided to come see,” she replied.“Thank you very much, Cielo. I owe you one. Two actually.” she answered, remembering the other incident that had occurre

“I still can't believe this,” Giovanni commented. He was still yet to recover from the information he had received. Cielo and the anonymous man being siblings? That was a top tier combo right there. They were all seated on a round table with two laptops on it. One belonged to Cielo and the other one, to her brother. There were paper works littered on the table and they'd been seated here for the past thirty minutes and so far, nobody had said anything important. He let his mind wander. From the event the anonymous man had first shown, which was his first meeting with Cielo, to his subsequent meetings with her, to the two times she saved his life. He realized everything seemed interrelated.Cielo had confirmed to him that the attacker wasn't a part of the institution. He wasn't also one of Romano's men, so who was he? The question had been on his mind since then. This wasn't the most difficult situation he'd face but the fact that more than two people who wanted him dead was getting ti

89. A break.

“What is wrong with her?” Piero asked the director as he walked into his office.“She wants a break,” the director shrugged in response and he turned to look at the door where Cielo had walked out a few minutes ago. Why would she want a break? She had barely returned from the last one a few months ago and didn't even give her all. Something was definitely going on. He had to find out.He nodded at the director before walking out. Whatever he wanted to say to the director was going to have to wait. He came out and couldn't find her. In the past month, she had been spending less and less time at the institution and she barely spent a night at the institution's lodge._Cielo walked into her car and drove off. Whether her break was approved or not. One thing was sure. She wasn't returning. She couldn't spend another minute with her parents' murderers. And as for Piero, did he know who they really were? She arrived at her house parked at the garage and stepped in. It was beginning to look

90. Cielo's abduction.

“I have found a way to draw Giovanni out,” Romano informed his new underboss. They were both in Romano's office at a new location provided by the black scorpione.“What way?” his underboss asked, interested in whatever he wanted to say.“This,” Romano replied, handing his phone to him. The underboss stared at the screen before looking at Romano. There was a photo of a woman on the screen. Though it was a bit blurry, he could see her face clearly. What he didn't understand was the relationship between the woman and what he wanted to do.Romano caught the confused look on his underboss's face and laughed. His laugh transitioned into an evil smile as he stared ahead. “That right there is the key. I've been keeping an eye on Giovanni for a few days now. A week or more, I don't know.” he waved his hand and continued. “She is the closest to Giovanni right now. There seem to be lovers or something of that sort,” he explained with a proud smile on his face.“Hmmm.” his underboss replied, equa
