Her chest tightening as she felt Lenore awake as well. The room she was in was dark, the only light was from a fireplace. There was not much in it. A bed and chair by the fire. She looked around relieved that she was alone. Her head was spinning; she was trying to remember exactly what happened. She sat up on the bed rubbing her head. A sharp stinging, burning feeling rushed up her arm as she grazed it. The pain made her look down. She looked at her arm, there was a bandage. A bandage, why was she bandaged..it covers…her brand. Run: Alice took off running full force into the trees. icicles falling from the branches as she pushed through the snow. Each step she took, she sunk into it. The loud popping and locking of his bones filled the air along with the whistle of doom. He was standing naked now in human form watching the arrow sail through the air towards the jet black wolf. It was too late his mind screamed as he raced towards the wolf. She turned, seeing him and went to square off with him. Her teeth snarled at him as she growled ready to right. “Move!” He yelled at her but it was too late the arrow hit her in her hind leg. She let out a loud whimper as Arkyn got to her. He saw another arrow flying for her. He threw his forearm in front of her, the arrow piercing through his forearm. He slid his hand carefully down to the back of her thighs trying not to move her injured leg too much as he scooped her into his arms. She let out a small groan, her head moving close to his neck. He sighed, as he turned to start walking back to the pack house. Her skin against his was sending chills through him. It was a mixture of bliss and calming comfort. Wrong Turn:Alice stared at the door not believing that some random pack member had just freed her. Was it this easy? Was this some kind of sick trap? It was the only way out and if she wanted out then she was going to have to go ahead and go. She slowly pushed the door open and waited. There was no noise, no sounds coming from out in the hallway. She slowly began to venture out, expecting someone to be waiting for her on the other side to throw her back in the room or throw her in a dungeon. Her feet hit the soft carpet on the hallway. She looked both ways, there was only one way to leave. The other end of the hall was a wall. If she could just find her way to a window or door that leads to an exit she would be good as gone. She hugged the wall creeping along it trying to make no sounds. She couldn't see the end of the hall, the hallway curved. There were no other rooms in this hallway so far. She frowned knowing that most Alpha’s liked their space but lived in the pack house. She
