Leo stood up at the sight of Angela. His eyes were red with desire. He had never seen a beautiful damsel like the one standing in front of him. "Good afternoon sir," Angela greeted Leo. After giving her parents a peck on their cheeks. "Good afternoon, beautiful," Leo replied. "Angela, meet Leo, the Mayor's son I told you about. Leo, meet Angela, my daughter." Angela didn't utter a word. She feared he might run them into an accident.Leo regretted his actions. "I'm sorry for yelling." He said remorsefully."I understand," Angela replied, tittering. She feared saying anything that could erupt that fierce part of him again.A few minutes later, they arrived at Angela's house. Angela suggested he pulled over at their threshold gate, instead of driving her in; so that he could drive back to his house on time. She didn't want him to visit her parents. She feared he might tell on her about Edwin's call.Leo decided not to wake a sleeping dog. The last thing on his mind was to permit the repetition of what had happened earlier.He came down from his car and hastened his steps towards the front door. He opened the door for her to step out, giving her a kiss on her forehead and a peck subsequently. Did I forget to mention that he gave her a warm embrace too?The reek from his perfume was seductive. Any girl would long for a man wearing such perfume.

"Good morning my love, how was your night?" He greeted, exhaling a wide yawn. "Good morning babe, my night was fascinating. She replied. He smiled on hearing much from her, looking straight into her eyes. Angela lowered her jaw immediately; she didn't have the audacity to look him in the eyes. "You seem to be troubled, what's wrong?" He asked. Drawing closer to her, he continued; "Or are you not happy about what happened last night? "No, it's not that," she uttered; shaking her head. "Then what? Talk to me, babe." He demanded, raising her chin with his palm, forcing her to look him in the eyes. His eyes searched hers aimlessly. He could see the nervousness in it. "Talk to me babe, I'm always here for you". They stopped suddenly, at his scold."Then be a gentleman, and walk out," Edwin responded.Leo's fist was clenched, and his brows were furrowed. Edwin could see the fire in his intense eye contact."This isn't over yet," he said in a cold voice. Moving closer to Edwin, he continued; "this drum you've beaten, get ready to dance to its tune." Edwin replied.As Leo turned to leave, he added; "But note; no matter what you do, you can never end up with Angela. We belong to each other and there is nothing you can do about it. He dipped the ID card back into his pocket, and smirked."Get ready for me, Edwin."
