[ K A R A ]  "I love you. I fucking love you." Ryder’s words were ringing in my ears. And everything else around me fell silent, like it was on mute. I couldn't hear anything, except the sound of his heavy breaths and the three words that were on repeat in my head. And I didn't know what to say, or how to react to this. I was a deer caught in headlights. "I've known it for a long time now. I just don't think I'd ever say it out loud," he continued saying. Words. Words. Words. I thought of all the vocabulary that I know, but nothing would come out. "Kara... say something, please," Ryder's eyes were searching mine. 

[ K A R A ]  Ryder took me up to his room as mine was currently being occupied by a Kardashian wannabe. I stood in the middle of the room with my dress soaked through and through from the rain. Ryder grabbed two towels from the en-suite bathroom and wrapped me in one of them. He dried his hair and face with the other one. Slowly, he then slipped out of his wet dress-shirt and let it fall to the ground. His naked body was slightly wet and glistening from the rain. I swallowed hard as he strode over towards me. "Are you sure about this?" he said, while he helped me dry my hair with the towel. "For the longest time, I told myself I was waiting for true love. Ryder's voice broke the silence. He just got out of the shower, and I was sitting on his desk with the paper and pen in hand. "New rules," I mumbled out as I kept on writing. "You and your rules," Ryder chuckled. [ R Y D E R ] When I opened my eyes next, the first thing I saw was Kara’s beautiful face right on my chest. She was sleeping soundly and her skin was glowing under the morning light. Dawn was breaking over the horizon and I knew it was time for us to get back. Last night, after almost getting caught by Lacey, Kara and I went pretty far away from where the RV was parked. We found a little cozy cave-like spot and we stayed there for the night, lying on a bed made of our clothes. We talked all night and watched the stars. I didn’t even remember falling asleep, but here we were. Kara stirred in her sleep, maybe she could feel that I was watching her like a creep. Her eyes then fluttered open and I saw those beautiful big blue eyes. It was weird, but her eyes could make me feel big and small all at the same time.  “Good morning, beautiful,” I greeted her with a kiss.
