Everything was perfect. I knew from my parents that dragons feel things more deeply than other shifters or humans. Their love for each other was something of fairy tales. Adjusting to life in a big city is, well, an adjustment. When we arrived in the city, Ishir took Jena to a pawn shop and sold one of the diamonds, leaving the rest with me.
