Chapter 18: An Image to Uphold~ Brax ~King Gabriel is a tough opponent. A worthy sparring partner for me. I could have got him to tap out when I rolled him over and put him on his back, but I couldn’t let him look bad in front of his people. That would be an awful thing to have held over your head. I can take the heat, because to them I am still young and learning. He is a seasoned fighter though. For him, losing to me would be devastating to his image as Lycan King. Dragons are a race that is private. We don’t socialize much. Other dragon kingdoms don’t socialize outside of their territory at all unless it is with other dragons. Humans and other races fear us, and we don’t tolerate them. The royal Lycan family are dear to my people though. They are some of our closest friends, and our only friends outside of our kingdom.

Chapter 19: Don’t Worry About What Could Happen~ Willow ~Normally I would be eager to get to the fights that my day would just drag by. Today though, it seemed to speed by.
