The second the bell rang, I rushed out of the classroom. I darted into the girls' bathroom, praying he was not mad enough to follow me. I sat down on the floor and hugged my knees to my chest. I couldn't find the right words so I remained silent. I chewed on the inside of my cheek as Xavier scooped me up into his arms and held me tight against his chest.
