I've managed to get away from the party. Dodge that guy using Rafaella's help. I've seen how Rhysand del Millero watched the movement of Rafaella who approached our father and mother intently. I could already guess what was going to happen next, maybe Rhysand would approach Rafaella and kiss her or say some nonsense that might make Rafaella stop herself from kicking the guy's ass. Rafaella is not a woman who gonna melts at the looks of a handsome man. She still hasn't moved on from Rikkard, and will probably reply to Rhysand's words just like I did. And here I am... Walk on the beach side, enjoy the waves against my feet, and watch in awe how the sea surface reflects the light of the full moon. Even though I was a little horrified at the thought of a godzilla that might be swimming under it, I was still amazed by the sight that was presented in front of me. I walked slowly, my hand holding the phone I crossed under my chest to dispel the cold that hit my body. I only wore a black

Emotions of anger and annoyance took hold of me. I didn't know who that woman was until she could say something like that and then shut the door right in front of me with a bang. Hearing her words, of course she was no ordinary woman to Jordan. If she was a member of the Jordan family then she wouldn't have done such an impolite thing. So, who is she? Didn't Jordan say he loves me and would do anything just to be with me? Then why is there a woman who uses quite sexy nightwear and excessive make-up in his apartment? Is Jordan cheating behind my back? He betrayed me? I sighed, stopping my car right in the parking lot of my apartment building. Don't know what to do, and I feel about it. Jordan is a nice and respectable guy, he can't be cheating behind my back, right? I leaned my head back in my car seat, trying to calm myself down before I headed back to my suite. The woman could be his family, and stay there. Jordan was so busy with his work at the office that he couldn't see me.

Something was spinning in the back of my head that hurt from the intensity. My throat feels dry. And, all I could see was darkness. A single point of light appeared when I moved my very heavy eyes. I squinted my eyes to adjust to the dim light that entered. I held my breath a moment later as I looked around the vast room that surrounded me. This room is spacious and luxurious, elegant and really classy. In front of me was a view of the skyscrapers of New York night presented on a glass wall. The glass wall took up a quarter of the space at the front of the room. The other walls are decorated with a dark palette : silver, dark gray and black with several frames containing monochrome abstract paintings. The sofa is located a little away from the bed, close to the glass wall. Then, no more furniture. I turned to the side and saw that there was an IV line standing next to the bed, and an IV line connected to my hand. Not only that that surprised me, I also turned out to be wearing an

When I woke up at exactly eleven o'clock in the afternoon, I couldn't believe how good and sound I had slept. After the last few days of not being able to sleep without the help of sleeping pills, and the pressure I feel on my head, I'm quite surprised that just by the lewd things Rhysand did, he managed to get me back into a deep sleep. What he had taken. I glanced at my hand which felt light, and my IV was gone. Whether Rhysand's personal doctor will be here and examine me, I really don't know. I slept like a fainted man. And that embarrassed me. I sat myself up, staring at the New York daylight scene in front of my eyes for a moment. Feel that my head is light and my body is not shivering like yesterday. Then, I moved my feet to the side of the bed. I don't know what I'm going to do right now because it's eleven o'clock in the afternoon, and I can't possibly come to the office, right? Especially after what Rhysand asked: to be his assistant, and... I don't know what I was think

I immediately moved quickly when my first job at this company was finished. It was already six in the afternoon when I got out and got into the taxi I called. I breathed a sigh of relief as the feeling of freedom inside of me was felt. Like a prey free from a predator, that's how I feel. The notification sound rang again on my phone. And I growled when I saw the message from Jordan was there. This is not the first time, but several times in the past day. I chose not to reply or respond to his calls. It's not a revenge, but...Somehow I wasn't in the mood to talk to Jordan. I'm too lazy to listen to nonsense about what he's been doing for the past few days that he doesn't answer all my messages and calls. And just as I was about to answer the call, I realized I was with Rhysand. His cousin, and someone who did something to me.Realizing that, and how I felt about Rhysand, made me sick of myself and feel bad for Jordan.I took a shaky breath as I remembered that after tonight, tomorrow
