Emily’s POV: I got out of Aiden’s place and walked briskly towards the Mile road as the sun was about to set and I didn’t want to end up walking in the dark on the most dangerous road of the town. I paced up myself as I reached the Mile road and while looking left and right, I kept walking quickly while thinking about Aiden and why he was so angry on me though I wasn’t guilty and I didn’t do anything to annoy him. I was there to try and convince him to spare Arlo and let him leave town but he didn’t even listen to me and got angry. I felt bad and hurt. Also, I felt insulted. Emily's POV: We were sitting in Melissa's bedroom while I was wondering about Arlo and if he was actually going to kill me to avenge himself.
