Chapter 21: A Regretted Move

The following day, Lucianda received a call that pushed her to pay an unplanned visit to Hakeem’s office. It had taken her a whole thirty minutes to find out the location of his headquarters and also the time he would be on the seat as this would again be her first time going to that particular area.‘It seemed with Hakeem, she would be doing a lot of things she had never before done.’ She thought with a sad sigh as the driver drove them through the London city.Truth be told, Lucianda was not looking forward to this visit as she had another thing entirely planned for her day.It was the day her new friend and her son planned moving into the Castos mansion and Luci and her son had been looking forward to that. But before that, Lucianda had been hoping to have a heart to heart talk with Julian after he came back from school concerning what happened the previous day with Prince Hakeem. She was hoping to dissuade him from believing whatever his father told him and to erase every form of

Chapter 22: The Chemistry

Lucianda’s eyes almost fell inside her brain as she struggled violently to stop what was happening. “Do you want a good fuck, right here and right now? Because I tell you, your struggling is only adding to my desire for you, you are giving me a hard - on when you rub your softness against me.” He released her lips long enough to warn her throatily and when she suddenly stopped struggling to stand so still you would think she was a statue, Hakeem chuckled before taking her lips again in a kiss that was deep and familiar. But after awhile, he got frustrated with her silence and rigid posture. Knowing the best way to make her come alive, he raised her into his arms and without caring for the files on his table, he put her on his desk and within minutes, in a move that was scary for its swiftness, he had his mouth on her perky breast. When he covered his mouth hotly on a nipple, he gave a murmur of appreciation and only then did the woman in his arms come alive again to begin her strug

Chapter 23:  A Beast

Glad to see she hasn’t lost all that fire and bristle, Hakeem felt a relief in his chest even as he told himself he must be crazy in the head. ‘It’s not that he gave a damn about her but it would kill something in him to think he had killed all that sauciness.’ He told himself firmly. “Hmm. So I bring out the worst in you and you slapped me? Why regret it then?” His raised eyebrow was evidence of his confusion. “I don’t regret slapping you, you deserved it and more. I only regret the fact that I allowed you to push me to your level.” Lucianda enunciated in a fighting voice. Greatly amused by her, Hakeem gave his head a hard shake, deciding they had had enough of these back and forth words. Time for business! “Okay. I’m a beast and you are a princess who does not like violence. Accepted!” He raised his palm in surrender. Luci wasn’t in the mood for patronization. She gave a huge eye roll of disgust. “Now, will you have your seat so you can tell me why you’re here? I’m sure you d

Chapter 24: Upping the Game!

At the reception area, Hakeem’s Secretary was busy addressing the two receptionists at the lobby when they both glanced up to see the beautiful Mrs Castos walking out as if the gate of hell was at her heels.Extremely confused, they all stared after her with similar shock on their faces, and then hearing a tiny sound behind them; they simultaneously turned to see their boss standing at the door with a furious, cold gaze on his person.Wow!Even though Prince Hakeem was not the type to smile and play with his staff members, he was nevertheless known as a fair man, despite the astute coldness he always wore on his face. The staff usually joked behind him, calling him ‘The dark god.’ But never have they seen such hostility from him. They could practically feel the temperature of the room changing to a cold hundred just now.Knowing full well the thoughts in the head of his staff, Hakeem turned his cold gaze on them and immediately, they all realised they had something else to do elsewhe

Chapter 25: Purity

Emotional from the feeling of love she was getting from her son, Luci decided it was the best time to have that discussion with her boy. She cleared her throat wearily, unsure of how to start. Ever a sensitive boy; Julian released his mum to take a glance at her. “What’s on your mind, mom? You can talk to Julian, okay?” He consoled bravely. Amused by this show of maturity, Luci gave a teary laugh. “Em son, about that man and what happened yesterday? Can we talk about it?” Luci decided to handle this maturely and not talk down on Julian as if he did not know anything about what was going on. She will try to be upfront as much as possible, that way her boy will not think she cannot be trusted with his emotions. “I hate that man mom, and I can promise you right now that talking about him will upset me greatly.” Julian promised his mom arrogantly. Although, normally a cute understanding boy, at this period he’s not willing to be obedient if it has to do with that evil man. He knew hi

Chapter 26: The Guests

Few hours later, trying to forget Prince Hakeem and everything he stood for in their lives, Lucianda stood beside her proper looking son to officially welcome the Annettes into their home. Smartly dressed in an impeccable suit which he had personally selected for himself, Julian Castos was everything Royal and Regal with a back and shoulder that’s so ramrod straight, you would think he was preparing to meet the military’s commandant. ‘Well, for my son, this is as important as a nation’s call.’ Lucianda thought in defense of him even though it was with some amusements as she fervently prayed for a calm facade. Her son was not helping things though; he was so serious about making the mother and son feel welcome, it’s almost sad to watch him as he stood at attention beside the door. Soon, they heard the horn of a car, which meant, their driver had arrived with the special guests. ‘Thank God!’ Lucianda sighed exaggeratedly with a roll of the eyes. She was sure any minute from then, sh

Chapter 27: The Surprise

On the other side of Laura’s room, there was also a drama similar to their own as Sammie kept glancing at his room in awe and confusion. There is only one thought in his head. ‘How? How did mum and I get to deserve this? Does this mean that there is no more suffering and hunger for us?’ He kept thinking but unsure of himself, he could not bring himself to voice out his question to the ever attentive boy watching him from the other side of the room. At last, he realised he had been staring for so long, so he gave a wide cough before sending his new friend a shy glance. “Hmm, the toys? Who owns? I mean hmm, what are they for?” He found himself asking and in the next moment, he wanted to faint from embarrassment. ‘Oh jeez, is that all I can say?’ He berated himself. But Julian, bless his soul, did not see anything wrong with the question. He responded in his usual serious manner. “Well, they are yours. You need stuff to keep you company whenever I’m too busy to play, don’t you? I a

Chapter 28: The Competition

Waiting for Lucianda and Julian to also fill their plates, each picked their forks to dive in and for a long minute, the dining table was quiet as each of them savored the taste of the deliciously prepared meal.“Wow! That was good. The best I have ever tasted.” Julian praised after a while of eating in silence and when they all glanced at their plates, each of them was surprised to see they had nothing left on it.“Wow, I can’t believe I finished that gourmet meal.” Laura said with some embarrassment but Lucianda’s comment soon put her at ease.“Me too. Me too, my dear, and the embarrassing thing about this is that I still have space in my tummy for more.” She confessed drily.“I’m not surprised, Mum, you are a glutton for good food.” Her son chipped in and everyone laughed softly.“Well, I would not mind another round myself.” Emboldened by Lucianda, Sammie decided to go for the truth also.“Sammieeeee…” His mother called with some surprise.“Oh Laura, free the innocent boy. Chapter 29 Solidified Threat

If Lucianda had known what was waiting for her, she would not have been glad to be so early awake the next day.Getting up from bed with the memory of how yesterday was a success with their guests, there was a pleased smile on Lucianda’s lips as she walked to the closets in her bedroom stockings. With one pearly tooth biting down softly on her soft rosy lips, Luci seriously contemplated going for one of her casual wears since she had nothing planned for the day other than to take Julian and their guests to the gallery. It’s one of those things she had been promising Julian but never got to do.But now, thanks to their guests, Luci suddenly realised there is no better time than now. And when after dinner yesterday night, she had casually told Julian and their guests they would be visiting the gallery in the morning, Julian had screamed so exuberantly in joy, Lucianda had felt proud of herself. Nevertheless, it had taken great persuasion to lure Julian to go to bed & at a point, Luci w

Chapter 30 Demon Man

Deciding to test the waters, Luci wiped her face of all worries as she pasted a soft motherly smile on her face before taking the last of the steps. “Good morning, son. I can see you are ready for the day, hmm?” Bending so she could place a soft motherly kiss on his lips, she accepted his warm hug. “Sure, Mum, Sammie and I had been talking about it all morning and I would have come to call you for breakfast but aunt Laura said you might need the extra sleep so I left you alone. We had breakfast already.” All this was said in less than two minutes as Julian did not want to even waste time in conversation. He wanted them to go immediately. Sending a mental thank you to Laura, Luci gave her son another peck to be sure of his mood. “Hmm, impressive. That’s good of you guys.” She praised in a distracted tone while checking the hall table for her brown purse. “So, Mum, do you want to have breakfast before we go? It’s past ten already and galleries should be visited in the day not night,
