Chapter Thirty-One

I had round up more notebooks so I wouldn't have to leave if one gets full, while I was gone Denton had signed a deal to talk with me. Morgan was now observing the meeting from the viewing room, he was shocked that I even got Denton to agree to talk in the first place. I walk back into the meeting room to see Denton sat there, but he looked much calmer than he did when I first walked in. I place two bottles of water in front of him, before taking my seat opposite him. "I don't want you getting thirsty in the middle of our conversation" I say opening my first notebook while he takes a gulp of the water, his hands shaking as he went showing me he was still very much nervous about talking "so let's start shall we, we know how you and Richard met and what happened to Thomas, but how did you get involved in M.S.P?" I ask looking up at him as I spoke, he clears his throat before talking. "You guys really do your homework, I wanted nothing to do with anything

Chapter Thirty-Two

We soon pull up at the huge mansion, Julian and Brandon got out first while I stay back in the car for a second. The building basically wasn't a building anymore, the front entrance was the only thing that was standing. I can't believe I survived that, with a little help from an apparent family member. Brandon looks in the car sending me a worried look due to me waiting to exit the car, I take this as my sign to get out. I open the door climbing out the car and into the fresh air, taking a deep breath in I scan my surroundings before looking down at the ground for a second. Get your head in the game Taylor, it's work time. Once I shake off the feeling to get the job done, while moving to go stand with the guys. Julian was holding the bag of things, while Brandon held the files. The alliance had cornered all of this off with tape, outside of the remaining walls were caution signs about the unsafe structure. "Okay, let's crack on and get this done" I smile while Br

Chapter Thirty-Three

~The night of the fire~Jasmine leaps from the car before it had time to stop, she had one thing on her mind and needed to get it done before she exploded. She types the pin to the metal outside door of the warehouse, the seconds it took to open felt like a lifetime. In no time at all, she was running into the warehouse shouting Travis, who was always in his office around this time. Everyone ends up running over, Travis being one of the last to walk down the stairs. "She's alive" is all Jasmine manages to say at first, she had all these feelings and words bottled up inside her yet, she couldn't fully get them out. "Who's alive?" Dominic, who was Travis's brother asks, from beside Travis who also didn't understand what situation he was in right now. "Taylor! She's alive I've just spoken to her! She was at the party!" She exclaims which does make everybody's eyes go wide and begin to look up at Travis, who had an unreadable expression "I'm not ly

Chapter Thirty-Four

We were now pulling into the alliance, after everything with the car we decided we should head home. The car ride home was silent, normally I was driving but Brandon said he would. This gave me the option to drift off into my own little world, where my mind begins to run a mile. Was my dad really there watching me? I wonder what he was thinking when he saw me? Does he know I'm one of the people hunting him down? I knew these questions were going to be swirling around my brain for awhile, which I knew Toby was gonna be hearing them all. If you've been wondering why we haven't been using mind-link, you physically can't mind-link within the alliance or if one of you is there. I don't know how, but to make sure that the bad people we have there can't communicate with anyone outside, they've done something to the building to stop it. I could have used hearing the sound of his voice today, it would have made things even that little bit more easier. I was the first to leave the c

Chapter Thirty-Five

Brandon still didn't understand why I was pulling him out of the alliance, or even where we were going for that matter. Also tagging along was Toby, at first I questioned him but he said Morgan told him he should go for emotional support for me. I didn't think I would need any of that, but it was nice that he could come along and not be stuck in the alliance all day. It wasn't really day anymore, so I knew by the time we arrived at the lake it would be dark, not only that, but around the same time Morgan found me there all those years ago. "Did you live anywhere near the lake that Morgan found you at?" Brandon asks from beside me, Toby was sat in the back with a blindfold on. "No, I actually can't remember where I used to live or what pack I was from, but no Richard did what he did to me than dumped me there" I explain turning the headlights to the car on, I was trying to rush over there so it wouldn't be too dark out. "I never knew the story like that,

Chapter Thirty-Six

It was 4am the next morning, when Morgan saw the letter last night he was as shocked as me. Once I explained what I thought was happening, he couldn't see any other explanation and agreed with me. I had a busy day ahead of me, me and Brandon were going over to see Peter in hospital. He actually asked Lukas to get me to go and visit him, he said that he has some major information that he just knows will help us find Richard. After we talk to Peter, we're heading to where I think Ricard is gonna go next. This meant my day was starting this early, who knows when I'll be able to come home after all of this. I go over to Toby, placing a soft kiss on his head while putting the note I've left for him on my pillow. He stays in my room now, everyone in our team knows about us being mates and kind of overlooks it. They don't know about me being marked though, I make sure to wear scarfs or high necked tops to cover it. I do my final checks of the room, making sure I have ev

Chapter Thirty-Seven

I hated being in hospitals, it just brings back horrible memories of when I woke up after Richard attacked me. I didn't remember a thing about who I was, or what even happened. I would hear the doctors and staff at the alliance discus what I was gonna happen to me, no one knew for sure where they should put me. Thankfully, Morgan came to the rescue for the second time, he said that he would look after me until I remembered more. That never happened so I stayed with him until I was old enough to train, as you already know. Brandon and I follow the nice nurse through the halls, she was walking rather quickly passed all the hurt people. All of them would send me a wave as I went by, I send one back before hurriedly still following the nurse. After a few more turns we arrive at a door, Brandon stood insanely out of breath as he stood beside me. She knocks on the door opening it slightly, while I just look around the hospital something feeling a little off. "Peter, yo

Chapter Thirty-Eight

The pack members were so happy that I went to watch them, they would all stop and ask me how I thought they did. I was even able to give them a few tips on how I like to do things, their training and the way we train back at the alliance isn't that different. While there Morgan rang me, he asked how things were going and why it took so long for us to arrive at the pack. I explained about the tree and the new information we learnt, I also told him about what Brandon was doing and he even agreed with me on that. I was now sitting on a wall watching everyone, they would all wave over to me as I cheer when they got something right. It was nice to be sat out here, I haven't been able to just sit outside in the sun and relax. Let's be honest, I never really have time to do this at all. There was still so much that I was undecided upon, now I'm marked I need to be with Toby, not that I was thinking of leaving him anyway. I can't imagine my life without being an alliance agent, bu

Brandon and I were now racing to the no territory, he still wasn't sure about all this but once again, this was the only option. We didn't have much time to get this done, we needed to be clear of this place so we'll get to the place I know Richard will strike in time. Brandon was also unsure how I knew that, but I just felt it in my gut. I told Morgan we're gonna go check the building out quickly, without telling him where exactly it was, let's hope he doesn't find out about this. We'd just passed Crescent Moon Pack, when we fall upon the no territory. You can just tell by the mood and darkness of this place, many packs have attempted to take this place over, but have failed miserably. I pull up on the side of the road, where an open field stood surrounded by a bunch of trees, from the map I knew this was the place. I stare at the field in front for me, from a distance this place just looked normal, it's the things hiding in the shadows that make dangerous. "I st

Chapter Forty

Brandon and I stood in the house for a few seconds, there was a line of people acting like a barrier preventing us from leaving. I make sure my weapon was of easy access before walking towards the non-existent door, Brandon close behind me. Once I step outside all eyes move to me, I knew they were trying their hardest to be intimidating, but were failing miserably. "Oh I didn't know the no territory zone has a welcome committee" I sarcastically say looking at all their angry expression "now if you don't mind, we're leaving" I smile walking forward and pushing passed a guy, who was shocked to say the least. I glance down at my watch and realise that we only have 15 minutes to get to our next stop, we really don't have time to sit with these people. Another line of people block my exit once again, I roll my eyes turning back to the group who were right behind me, but also blocked by a line of people behind them. What's with these people! "I'm sorry, but n
