~KAHLAN AND EMETT~There was a light knock on my bedroom door. I looked up to see Emett. I sat on the edge of my bed with my head in my hands. I was remembering things I tried so hard to forget. They were taking over my mind because I once found myself in this same situation. I shook my head as if that was going to shake thememories loose, as if they would fall out, but all I was doing was making myself sick to my stomach. Emett knocked again, and for a moment, everything stopped. I looked up at him. He smiled. “So, this is where you’re hiding.” I looked around. I hadn’t even realized that I had climbed the steps to my bedroom.  “I had a little too much to drink,” I slurred. He stumbled over to me, taking a seat beside me on the bed. 

~THE HANCOCKS~ Mya and Amy sat at the dining room table putting together a seating chart for the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding. Julia then came in with a basket full of green and clear bags. Amy looked inside one of them. “It's for the thank you cards,” Julia said, “They’re wrapped in pretty bows. The girls get the perfume and the guys get the chains.”“Nice,” Mya said, continuing her work. “So Julia,” Amy began, “you never told us about your family. I mean who is coming?” “Well, I don’t have much family,” she replied looking at the girls. “My mother and I aren’t on good terms, my father, well he’s coming. He’s 89 and insists on walking me down the aisle, no matter what.” The girls smiled. “And my brother, he’s coming as well. He’s going to be your fathers best man.” She shook her head. “You don’t approve?” Amy asked. “My brother is a twenty five year old player. Or at least that’s what he thinks he is.” The girls chuckled. “He’s going to try to hit on every woman.”

~KAHLAN, MYA AND EMETT~ “Yes, hello my name is Julia Sanders,” I said into the receiver of my phone. Most of us had crowded into the living room of the Hancock home. There would be no need to start setting up for the wedding if the Bride and Groom planned on returning home. So first things first, we need to get rid of them. All eyes were on me as everyone watching to see if there would be any success in this plan. “Last name S-A-N-D-E-R-S.”“And what can I help you with today Ms. Sanders.” “Well miss, I am getting married, but before I walk down the isle I want to have the time of my life.” The woman chuckled into my ear, waiting for me to be more specific. “I’d like a suite for two nights, something that will measure up to the best bachelorette party. ~JUSTIN AND EMETT~  All of the deliveries were made early the next morning. We were up like busy bees. We decided to work on the inside of the house first. Carly was the wedding coordinator and the designer. She had many ideas and was ready to get started. Everyone took her directions, trusting her to make the right decisions. Carly wanted a certain image to be captured and she vowed by the end of the night, it would be.  Christian and Chad worked on table placements. We decided that the food should be kept inside, so three large rectangle tables were placed, two in the living room and we used the dining table already placed. They were covered with a dark green tablecloth that matched the colors of the twin’s dresses. The food would be delivered the morning of the wedding. ~KAHLAN~  After the wedding the teens guided everyone into the living room, giving them about ten minutes to mingle around, look over food options, and talk about how beautiful the ceremony was, while we cleared out the chairs, and quickly set out the tables. Once that was done, we opened the doors back up, and presented Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hancock, as they had their first dance as man and wife. After that, every other couple made their way to the dance floor. I had a camera out, taking pictures. This is the kind of happiness I wanted to capture, to remember, to one day compare my love to. Paul held her close and wrapped her arms around his neck. They stared into each other’s eyes as if they could live in that moment forever. They held each other as if they never wanted to let go.
