50 A Sister?

Ashton POVI know Alaina is not doing well right now, I can feel it through the bond, but she won’t let me touch her, never mind comfort her. I should have told her before, I should have told her as soon as I found out, but I didn’t think that she was in the right head space to deal. 'And it’s that thinking that caused issues with our mate in the first place!' 'You know what?! You are insufferable when you gloat!'Jan huffs and retreats to a deeper part of my mind. How was I supposed to know that not only did my mom knew her mom, but that she knew everything that happened. On one hand I am ecstatic that Alaina can finally get some answers, on the other though… I am scared, I am scared that this will be the last straw for her, that thi

51 Ty's Tantrum

Alaina POVAfter Ash’s confession with MORE information, I got up and stomped off to the spare room and slammed the door, so hard the pictures on the wall shook. Angry, pissed, fuming, livid, perturbed 'I’m so glad you found a thesaurus Al.'I can FEEL the eye roll. 'Well, what do you expect? When is this man going to learn? Once again, he’s hidden something from me! Once again, he KNOWS he screwed up and yet he still did it.' 'Al… I don’t think you should be so hard on him for this one.' 'I’m sorry what? I thought y

52 A Hunch About A Tracker

Ashton POV *ASH! YO ASHTON MAN COME ON.* *Austin, why exactly are you yelling at me?* *Where the fack have you been?* *I went for a run, needed to clear my head.* *Dude, Alaina was looking for you, she’s freaking the fack out!* *Why?* *Probably because she can’t find you AND she’s been trying to link you and Jan but is getting complete silence back?* Shat, I was hoping to be back before she noticed I was gone, but there should be no reason for her to not be able link me. 'Why can’t Alaina get through?' 'I have no idea. I didn’t hear anything, and it didn’t feel like you had a block up with someone trying to break through.' 'What the…' *I’m on my way back now, Janus has no clue what happened either. Where is she?* Janus turns around and starts to run back. We’ve been gone for a while, I would guess cl

53 Hiding From The Alpha

Alaina POV Who could, or would, have completely blocked the link? I didn’t, Ash says he didn’t, so in theory by extension Jan didn’t, so then… no, she wouldn’t, Tyche wouldn’t completely block out the link, would she? There’s no other explanation though. OH. MY. GOOD. EVER. LOVING. FACKING. HELL! 'TYCHE! WHAT IN THE HOLY EVER LOVING FACK? ARE YOU FACKING KIDDING ME?! HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. YOU DIDN’T JUST DO THIS TO ME YOU DID THIS TO ASH AND JAN TOO! WHAT THE FACK WERE YOU THINKING?' Silence I cannot yell at her, I have to have a bit of tact, which is not something that I am known for though. I take a couple deep breaths before trying to talk to her again. 'Tyche...' Nothing &n

54 Behave Like a Sane Wolf

Ashton POV “I want you to come in with me.” Those are words that I have been waiting to hear for months! I have been trying so hard to be patient, to give her the time she needs, to not push her into doing something she isn’t ready for, and it has been beyond hard some days… pun not intended. “As long as you are sure you want me there, and if at any point you want me out just let me know and I will leave.” Alaina nods, grabs my hand and we walk into the building together. I feel almost elated, she is trusting me enough to bring me in with her. I know we made the agreement in regards to the douchecanoe, AKA Finlay, but I had also told her it didn’t need to be this soon. Just passed the doors I give Alaina a small tug backwards.

55 You?

Alaina Driving back to the packhouse Ash and I talk about the session a little more. I honestly didn’t think that we would be able to get through that much, never mind things that are that deep, in one session! After talking about the possibility, I may not be able to have pups, because I stabbed myself with a silver knife, things were much easier to discuss. Ash made sure I knew, and felt comfortable, with the other options that we could look into. He was not angry, he didn’t show me any pity, he accepted it without a second thought and still loves me. We talked about what we want to happen in our relationship, we went through why I am so hesitant to really commit to anything, which was a lot more eye opening that I thought it would be. “What are you thinking about, love?” Ash asks me, while grabbing

56 Gone

Ashton POV After dropping Alaina off at the pack house, I link Austin to meet me at the dock. “Ok, why am I here exactly?”Grinning like a fool, and bouncing on my toes, I am having issues forming a complete sentence I am so excited! “Date with Alaina!”I half yell at him. Austin laughs and nods his head in understanding. This is something that I have been looking forward to for years, but more so in the last few months. The more Alaina has become comfortable, and has been able to work on things the closer this moment seemed to get, just causing my excitement to constantly elevate. “You have a plan yet man?” &nb

Author's Note, Thank you

Again, thank you so much for your support! I know that I cannot do this with out the readers, and the fact that you have gotten this far truly means the world to me! I never thought of myself as a writer, I didn't think I could write... that my imagination was good enough to get here. I hope that you always push yourself to try something new, to do things that you enjoy, to go outside of your comfort zone. No matter what is going on, you deserve to be happy, you are worth being happy. You... you are what has helped me keep going, helped me see that I can do anything, and I want you to know that you can too! We all fall down, this is not the first app I applied to have 'publish' my book, but with perseverence I got on this app, and because I took that risk, I put myself out there, I have come to realize that the only thing that has ever held me back is myself.

57 Running

Steven POV I have no clue how I ended up here; running from my Alpha, and the rest of the pack. Running for my life, because if they catch up with me there is no way I am going to be kept alive. Ok, I do have a clue… I know I facked up but I had no choice, I swear I had no choice. At least that’s what I have been telling myself for months! *Flashback*I hate running the border. There are 8 trackers in the pack, right now, and only two of us run the border, so we are doing twelve-hour shifts. I am hopeful that the newest tracker will be fully trained soon to take some of the load off myself and Delaney. We used to have 6 on shift, that was until a couple got too old, and another got hurt. We haven’t had enough pups to take over, when Oston showed the ability to track we were all so excited, when she showed the ability to be str

58 Why?

Ashton POV 'What the h3ll just happened?' 'Um… I think someone from the pack betrayed us.' 'Thanks tips, any other information, that I already figured out, that you want to share?' 'You don’t need to be a dick about it.'I roll my eyes. It takes us all a moment for the situation to REALLY sink in because it’s all a little too incredulous! I notice Oston, Delaney, and a couple of the warriors take off after Steven, while I am too dumbfounded to move. Six warriors and Ken stay back with me. &nbs
