Words and promises

Several hours. After several hours in pure absolute terror and torture, I endured the whole night as Xerxes took me several times. He imposed his ownership not only on my body, but a part of my soul was dying the more he was degrading our mate bond. By the time he was done, the rain was just drizzling. The grey clouds had subsided and the moon was peeking through the darkness of mists. To my comfort, no wolf of his came near that hidden cave, even when morning arrived. Xerxes flee somewhere and to hide my remaining dignity, I covered myself with the shattered pieces of the dress. Xerxes returned and to my surprise, he had a piece of cloth fisted as he threw it my way. “Alpha, wolves are ready.” Just when I dressed into the shirt that looked oversized on me, Damien informed me as he stepped out of the bush. He was still wearing a pair of pants and bare feet. His eyes lowered and I realised it was because I was not wearing anything under the shirt. My cheeks flared with embarrassment.

Mate

His grip tightened over my waist as we both stared into each other’s eyes. His blue-golden unique eyes were ocean-strong, swimming with warm sun-lit currents. So enthralling just like every dancing sky, with infinite hues illuminated by newborn light. His face was mostly obscured by a stubble that clung to his skin like winter ravaged ivy tendrils. He met my gaze not with the shyness of seeing a stranger but with a blunt straightforwardness to avert his gaze first. How odd to see those half-striking features devoid of warmth, like they were stolen.Emotions stirred in me, just like I was being pulled into the depth the more I look into his eyes.“Alpha Xerxes,” Lucien’s startled voice rang in my ears. Something stirred inside me as I glanced at the man that just walked inside our house with long and powerful strides. His sandalwood essence infiltering my nostrils as my heart ached. What were these feels? A doubtful assumption crept into my mind as my wolf sat on her hind legs and wagg

Somehow it felt like I was the only one suffering. When the sun finally sunken behind tall mountains, I decided to scrub off the dirt and wash. It was a startling fact that Xerxes was even letting me bathe on my own. I was not being treated as the slave I was before, but maybe this freedom was short-lived. Breakfast

“I’d never dare.” His words felt like someone was scrapping an iron nail against the metal, so sharp and piercing. It had been a few hours since Xerxes told me his truth. And I couldn’t seem to catch lies in his words. If one thing I could rate Xerxes ten in, was his honesty, he was integral when it come to truths. He’d preferably hide things but never twist them into a lie. His lingering presence was here, haunting, making me not want to wake up in the morning. He left me hanging on his words and I wouldn’t lie, I barely slept. But my heart pushed me to gather myself and divert my attention to something else. Augustus’s letter. I hadn’t pulled it out from under the mattresses, but I knew I had to either burn it or get rid of it. If Xerxes finds it, the consequences would be hazardous. My heart was wary and my mind was conscious as I numbly stepped into the bathroom. A hot shower wasn’t enough to wash away the tiredness in my limbs. Just when I stepped out, a wolf was waiting for m

Lucien Alora

“W-what’re you doing?” Despite me being indifferent to him, our bond was something that had turned into an inescapable cage, and it frightened me. Neither his hold nor his gaze softened. Xerxes watched the eerie and tensing of my body by his touch as my eyes notice the shake of his hands and the tight clench of his jaw. He didn’t like the fact that I insulted him by defying him in front of his wolves. I swallowed my fear of him to punish me and expanded the safe zone for myself, to not become the woman he could scare anymore.“Why must you defy me, Katarina?” I glared at him, showing my frustration as I yanked my wrist back. I was not interested in whatever he had to say. “I’m trying not to hurt you, but you’re making it improbable.” “Let go. I have nothing to offer, Xerxes.” Not Ben respect. I shook my head. My lips wobbled as his eyes dilated and he inhaled my scent deeply, replenishing my essence. “That’s for me to decide, flower.” He said unhesitantly. My body tensed at the nick

Sofia

“Help me, Xerxes!” She screamed into the device. Her shaking fingers clutched onto the phone with every ounce of strength remaining in her tired body. Her baby blue eyes terrifyingly looked over her shoulder at wolf beasts lunging after her, eyes red and raven fur. Her legs gave up on her, as she clutched her growing stomach with her other hand. Praying and hoping to escape the inevitable. A feeling of dread, panic and anxiety clasped her. “Pick up! Pick up! Please!” she shouted, as the tears dripped down her porcelain skin. “No!”“No! Please leave me! P-plea-“Fear was a dark presence on the edge of her vision. It was like a spot of blackness that hides in the corner of her eyes. She turned to look at it, hide yet it stared directly at her, and then it disappeared. She was being chased. From the shadows came a wolf, yet he seemed like no ordinary predator. He moved to block her path, staring with almost beastly eyes. The only sound in the entire forest was Sofia’s fastened breathin

Lies and more lies

It was strange hearing him address me with such a title. I had never been called that. Probably that’s why I averted my gaze from him and wrapped my arms around myself suddenly feeling cold. “Damien.” I acknowledged him as I looked uncomfortably at him. We hadn’t talked much. If there was one person who was not reluctant to my presence, it was him. He respected me and often showed his sympathy for me. He kept looking at me for a moment and heaved a deep sigh, contemplating something that seemed to bother him. “It’s…good to see you settling in the pack.” He smiled though I could see a hint of hesitation in his dark orbs. I didn’t know how truly I was to answer him. I tried to smile at him but my eyes betrayed and I licked my dry lips, unsure. Sensing my awkwardness, Damien continued. “There’re so many things I want to tell you, Luna. But I don’t think that’s my place, I am but a mere beta of this pack. Alpha…was not like this.” I frowned at his remark. Was he trying to defend him?

Cries of my heart

The blood ran cold in my veins as the heaviness in my stomach grew more corpulent. It felt like someone was reaching up to clasp my throat with the throned wire, tightening it around me. My brain stuttered for a moment and my eyes took in more light than I expected, every part of me went on pause while my thoughts catch up. And it brought a quietness within, a moment to feel my emotions change gear and girder, my soul, for what was to come when a ferocious growl reverberated in front of me and the photos slipped from my sweaty palms to the ground. I jumped with a startle as the door slammed against the wall and my eyes rose in search of the intruder. The intruder with most distinct and alluring orbs which, however, now looked more beastly than ever. His Steele greys and golden were the platters of a ferocious man, ready to tear me apart. And it felt like the ground beneath me slipped and I felt every image flashing through my eyes. “What are you doing here?” Their deep voice of his

Euphoria

I eyed the horrific photos on the ground again as confusion knocked down my senses with much-needed force. Was he misunderstanding something? Xerxes scarcely paid no mind to my words as he breathed out heavily, his hands tightening around me, I felt so helpless that I couldn’t see him and did not know what he was about to do. A wicked chuckle resonated in the room.“I know what you’re trying to do,” I tried not to flinch as his rough hand collided with my bare bottom. A stinging sensation rippled through me and I bit my lips holding back a grunt. “I’m warning you, Katarina. Don’t play with me, otherwise, you’ll get burned.”I heard him unbuckling his pants as his belt came undone. My eyes widened as the cold leather was fastened around my wrists. Vulnerability mocked me.“S-stop!” My anxiousness grew as he chuckled darkly and secured the leather tightly, caging my arms in a place.“Shh…I want you to be quiet. Two spanks for every word escaping your lips.” He confided huskily pressing

Dead end

Sun was peeking through the blue sky, a soft ray of sunshine managing to untangle itself from the dark drapes of his cold room as it fell right upon her face. Her skin flowed with the fallen ray as she twisted her face at the sudden attack of light. Xerxes unconsciously raised his hand in the air blocking the notorious beam. His curious harping soft gaze lingered over her features as they softened. Without a doubt, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, which was a very lousy and lazy way to describe her. There was something moon-soaked and dawn-flavoured about her. Something that kissed his deepest darkest part and meddled with his darkness. Just like these falling rays of sunshine, bussed by the dawn. Suddenly urge to see her big soft brown eyes engulfed him, and Xerxes struggled. His eyes were intensely on her. Taking in her every feature and detail he missed all these times. She was everything he was not and yet he couldn’t express himself. A sigh left his lips. He h
