Rae’s POV These last few days have left me exhausted. We barely left our bedroom in the castle. It seems that we just could not get enough of each other. However, Chris was woken up by the regent. Chris’s POV Rae is twirling around in the yard, enjoying the warmth of the sun, when I feel a sudden presence come up behind me. I spin around and see Toby coming at me. I glance at Rae, to ensure that she doesn’t see us, and I walk towards Toby. I brace for the fight that I know is coming. I’ve heard the rumors and it hurts that she’s the target. Toby’s POV All goes quiet when we enter the dining hall. I feel Rae stiffen a bit as every eye turns toward her. I grab a tighter hold on her hand so that she remembers that I am here.
