Sarah povPain. Red, hot, burning pain. If I had known that the heat would worsen if I did anything with someone shortly before it started, I'd never have agreed to sleep with Lazarus. I don't regret what we did, but I hate the effect it had on the heat. It's never been this bad. Every year, I managed to escape the territory and hide; up to this day, no one has ever found me in a situation as messed up as such. My body never excreted such intense pheromones. The scent is so strong that even I can feel it- while my mind is fighting against the effect, my body's busy inviting men to come close.I can thank Lazarus for the ice bath, but I doubt it'll help for a long time. Even now, with most of my burning skin soaked in the ice water, I can feel beads of sweat running down my face and neck. I take a few deep breaths and wash my face, forcing myself to get a grip. I have to focus and fight the stupid heat before I lose my mind. There's no one out there to help me. Or there are a few

Sarah povFirst of all, I never expected Luka to be the type to boss someone around. I was sure he was more of a missionary type of guy who loved gazing into their partners' eyes as they made love. So, to say that his command left me confused, surprised and speechless at the same time would be an understatement. Regardless of the initial shock, I follow his words and do just that while Luka watches me. I know he's watching me- my body may be burning because of the heat, but nothing burns as intensely as his gaze. "Spread your legs a little wider, baby," Luka says as I glance over my shoulder and see him reaching for a condom. I do as I'm told, and he immediately has more to add. "Lower your upper body a little so that your nipples touch the sheet, but don't lay your body on the mattress." Again, I follow his request without any objections. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and how he wants our experience to play out. Luka is silent; the only sound to be heard is our heavy breath

Angus povThey are sick- all three of them. At first, I thought that only the one they called Lenox was the twisted one, but boy, was I fucking wrong. The third one has disappeared, and frankly, I'm kind of glad about that. The guy seems to be the only one left with a clear mind when it comes to his so-called brother's crimes, but I have a feeling he's just as bad as those two. For example, while I'm bleeding, the men sitting on the bed only seem to care about the damn carpet. Sure, it doesn't matter that the blood is mine, and I'm in actual damn pain because of this psychopath, does it? Not that any of them care. First, he had to interfere when I finally found the brat. Then, he goes out of his way to track me down in the forest, and last but not least, the maniac gets into our territory and kidnaps me from the hospital. At this point, every suspicion I had about that crackpot starts making sense. He has no self-control or real human emotions to understand that something he's do

Lenox pov "I can't believe we're related," Luka's voice rings out behind me right as I move closer to Sarah. I swear, my brothers are prime cockblockers. That's not fair. Both of them had fun, and I worked so hard to set up the mood for her, even made sure we would have an audience, and now Luka's here to start some shit with me again. I groan, turn around to face him and raise an eyebrow. Luka grins and crosses his arms in front of his chest, "You promised a woman you wouldn't cut her if you two had sex; that's what I'm implying to, Lenox. No sane person does that." Well, I have to give him credit for making an effort to wear something. It's not much, but sweatpants are more than enough to cover his micro-dick, so I'm good. "Brother, there are two kinds of Alphas in this world," I raise two fingers and smirk. "Those who can take a joke and those who are failures. Which one do you prefer to be?" I, for one, know Luka can't take a joke, but there's no way he'll say he failed

Lazarus povLenox leaves me in the guest room with his new victim, who we learned is but isn't Sarah's brother. At first, I thought he left me as a guard to make sure the guy won't attempt to escape and cause any more trouble than Lenox already has, but as per usual, I'm wrong. I'm not just the guard; I'm my brother's wall. To explain his mindset - Lenox is a psychopath, and I love him for that, but our appearances are drastically different. I'm the tallest and strongest of the three of us, and he's even shorter than Luka, so many don't see him as half as dangerous as they assume I am. If only people knew that I'm mainly as harmful as a teddy bear and Lenox is more dangerous than a nuclear explosion. He's a threat to the entire population of Earth, but since most people and shifters believe in old stereotypes, they think he's harmless. I sigh and run my fingers through my hair as the restrained man follows my movements. He's probably waiting for the moment when I'll leave and give
