Get herself killed.

Cain had told her that he has already had a long chat with Bree and had made it very clear to her that he has no feelings for her. Ever since then Bree has kept a low profile ad though she acted as if Cain and Reyna weren’t present in the same room as her, Reyna was quite quick to catch on to the envious fumes that reeked off Bree’s skin. The woman was trying her best to act as if she has moved on from Cain and was looking for another target to imprint with, Reyna was quite certain that everything was nothing but a big, fat lie. Though Reyna knew what was going on in Bree’s head, she still didn’t call her out. She thought that as long as Bree pretended to act like she couldn’t see either her or Cain, then she would be fine and Bree has indeed stopped asking for trouble though the woman still shot her derisive looks every once in a while. But now she actually came to her door …what was she supposed to make of it?“ What brought you here?” Since she wasn’t fooled by Bree’s naive and sw

I don’t appreciate lies

“ I know that you will think that I am lying, everyone thinks so too but you have to admit that a guy who was never open to commitment is sure to make a mistake or two, right? The guy I have been chasing after has been afraid of imprinting ever since I met him and what if it was all because of the distance he was putting in between us that we couldn’t get together in the end? What if the reason he is with someone else is that he felt something … something that he could have felt for anyone?” Reyna’s wolf paused and then her stomach started to churn, even though she hated to admit it. This was one of her greatest insecurity of all time.“ I can’t take his words as completely certain if I do not have a clear understanding of what he feels, what if he is confused? What if he is just trying to hide something from me? There could be a possibility that I and he could have been a thing if we tried right? ““ If you are not sure then there is nothing I can do about it,” said Reyna as she f

Princess tantrum.

“ Oh you think I am trying to create trouble between you and Cain?” asked Bree as she placed the mug down and her lips pressed in a thin line. “ Is there anything that I didn’t speak clearly about? You are bitter that Cain rejected you by giving you a half-hearted excuse but at the same time, he got together with me, despite giving you an excuse that he doesn’t sleep with his pack mates. You are angry and upset, and with that ‘princess syndrome’ you got in your head, you just can’t wrap your head around the truth that has been sitting in front of you, you believe you are superior to everyone because you are a blessed healer. You are supposed to be Sawyer’s saviour and that alone makes you feel like you are something in this pack, you don’t love Cain nor do you care about him, you just fancy the thought of having him and the only reason you are so hung up on him till now is that you just can’t accept that someone rejected you.”“ Or maybe you just don’t want to face the reality, you w

What did she say?

Cain watched Bree leave and then rounded at her with a wicked speed that was enough to tell her just how pissed he was as he glared down at him, he snapped with a waspish tone. “ And why in the world did you let her in, what were you thinking about, you know there is a freak roaming around in the pack who can literally change into just anyone and yet you are going around opening doors for just anyone, what if that wasn’t Bree and someone else?”“ I would have ripped him a new one if it was him, and I would have done that gladly.” Reyna huffed as she crossed her arms and walked back to the kitchen. “ Can you please not make light of your life here? Do I need to remind you just how important you are to me, why do you have to use yourself as bait, I don’t get it? I want you safe, Reyna. You hear me?” He came after her, hot on his heels as he buzzed in her ears like an annoying housefly. “ You cannot just open doors and let anyone in when I am not here and for goodness sakes call me if s

What a B

“It's funny how you don’t mind stepping on Cain’s bottom line just because you didn’t get what you wanted,” said Reyna as she stepped inside the group of submissive wolves and stared down at Bree who was still crying while gently wiping the tears off her face. It was annoying as f*ck that people took her act as real, if someone asked her, then she would have loved to tell them that Amber had much better acting skills than Bree and at least her crying and sobbing were realistic. “ And if you are going to pretend then at least learn how to sob better, you sniffle like you are snorting c*ke.”Bree stiffened as she placed her hands down and clenched her handkerchief in her hand as she looked at Reyna she looked super pissed but somehow she managed to not snap back at her and shook her head in disappointment. “ I have nothing to say to you, maybe you are thinking that my complaints are pathetically stupid——”“ Complaints? You have some f*cking nerve if you think that you sitting here and s

Bree was attacked

Cain wasn’t at all comfortable with what Bree tried to do at the main lodge, it was like she was deliberately trying to test his patience with all the antics that she was pulling and what was more was that she actually tried to drag the name of that woman in her argument with Reyna. He wasn’t happy about it at all but just as Reyna said, Bree was trying to get a reaction from it, if that's what she wanted then all he needed to do was to try his best to ignore her. The two of them stayed a few minutes by the artificial lake before they walked back to the main lodge. However, they were halfway through when Diskant came running towards them, seeing his expression, Cain’s mood worsened. “ If Bree pulled another shit like this morning, I don’t want to hear about it alright?” His beta exhaled heavily. “ Bree was attacked just now.” Reyna stiffened as she did a double-take of what Diskant said just now. “ She was what?” “ Attacked, I and Cain were on my way to the lodge when we heard you

Couldn’t find the Scorpion pack.

“ No one’s going to blame you, Rey,” said Cain as he curled his arm around her waist. “ Take a breath and calm down, no one’s saying anything, I brought you here, and you didn’t barge in the territory on your own, so calm down, alright?” It took a moment for Reyna to realise that she wasn’t breathing, she was just standing still like a puppet in front of Cain and Diskant, who looked really concerned because of her reaction. She broke her stillness after taking a shaky and trembling breath, she wanted to calm down but how can she calm down when she knew that someone was after her, even now she felt like there was someone who was lurking in the shadows and staring right at her from the dark corners of the forest. Her wolf was just as anxious, she never got a good feeling with the Mcbride brothers as she couldn’t sense any emotions from them and if not for Evelyn who manipulated them into believing in them, they would have never gotten near the two men ever. “ Do you think he is here,

No one can save you from me.

Reyna wasn’t afraid that she would be abducted by Robin, she knew that she was being closely protected and even if he was to try something sneaky she would be sure to punch him in the gut first but what she didn’t expect was that someone would drag her out of the house without her even sensing anything. How did that happen? She was terrified as she looked around, she was still in the territory but that was only because her consciousness returned before the person trying to take her away could succeed in their plan. She took a sniff of her surroundings, it smelled of snakes. Damn it no wonder she wasn’t able to sense anything, there were snakes involved! Just as she tried to stand up, she felt her vision turn hazy as she staggered and fell back, a sharp hiss escaped her lips as her gaze fell on her ankle that has been bitten by a snake. Shit.Cain shook his leg with impatience burning inside him, he left the territory and Reyna alone because he was sure that they have gotten hold of

She is the one who killed them.

Reyna felt the pain that Cain was feeling and she closed her eyes, the pack have tried to hide it from her but she knew that those two young enforcers were killed by the two female lone shifters while they were trying to protect her. She closed her eyes, as they started to burn, her throat felt clogged —— those two enforcers were too young to die and yet they lost their lives because of her, there was no reason for them to die. Those two were just trying to keep her safe and were only following the order of their alpha, Reyna couldn’t help but feel a slight pang in her chest, she knew that she wasn’t the one who was at fault for her and knew that she shouldn’t be blaming herself for this but the guilt was still stabbing her deep in her guilt. She took a breath and opened her eyes as her gaze met with Cain’s who shook his head most probably trying to tell her that she shouldn’t be blaming herself. Bold words from someone who was drowning in guilt himself.Kerry who was responsible f

Sending Bree out of the pack

The next the pack had another meeting and as the Alpha female Reyna had to attend it too, to her surprise the ban that was inflicted on Mike had been lifted and though he did look disgruntled, he was still attending the meeting and that was all Reyna could manage to take in as her head throbbed and stinging sensation shot through it. Resting the side of her face on the back of her hand Reyna somehow managed not to groan as the rhythmic thump-thump echoed in her head, and that wasn’t all, even the smallest of noise was enough to jolt her and send her down the misery lane yet here she was attending a meeting while listening to the suggestions and countermeasures that were being put in the meeting. She slurped on the extra strong coffee that Cain had brewed for her and tried to ignore the drumbeat like pounding in her head, she was fine —- yeah as long as she believed she was fine, everything will be fine that’s it. The emotions were running high among the enforcers and Reyna was havin
