As much as he wanted to derive joy from hurting her, Damien hated himself afterwards. As the cold water from the shower trickled down his body, he kept regretting his actions over and over again. He wasn't a monster. He wasn't the kind of man that took a woman by force; But for the first time in his life, he had physically hurt a woman.
