Chapter 1 - Geneva

GENEVA'S POV I was walking around the neighborhood like per my usual routine early in the morning. Today is a bit peculiar from the rest of my walks because the sky looks somehow red and there's no daylight despite this hour being the time the sun rises. The breeze was cold yet it was comforting and gave off a nostalgic feeling for some odd reason. It's as if I fell in love with the cold but once was separated from it. I took a deep breath as I listened to the humming of the birds and the howling of the winds. I looked up at the sky and watched the color transition from red to orange as the sun slowly rose.  I heard the bush next to me shuffle. "Ack!" I shouted and stepped back, not knowing what's hiding beneath it. I easily get shocked and have no practical skill of self-defense against anything since I was raised spoiled by my family.  I grew up with a silver spoon in my mouth or more likely gold

Chapter 2 - Geneva

GENEVA’S POVWhen I thought I was going to meet my end, the massive white wolf saved me once more. It caught me on its back before I completely fell to my doom. After catching me, I felt like passing out and vomiting. My body felt weak and my consciousness was slowly fading once more.  Before I knew it, I passed out.  (Six hours later...) My body felt like I had just fallen off a cliff and was hit by multiple rocks. I tried moving but it just felt like my bones were twisting all over the place. "Ugh.." I groaned in pain as I tried to remember what happened. I breathed heavily and the sudden recollection of memories made me open my eyes. I gasped loudly and sat down despite feeling like all my bones were broken.  I looked around and saw that I was surrounded by rocks. I looked down and saw I was in a wooden bed and I held my torso as it hurt too much. I breathed heavily and

Chapter 3 - Geneva

GENEVA'S POV"You are violating my human rights! You cannot keep me in this carriage and force me to meet someone!" I shouted loudly. It's been thirty minutes and they've locked me up in this medieval carriage and won't let me out. I've been screaming at them yet they won't let me be.  "Lady Nyla, please calm down." My eyebrows furrowed as I banged my fist into the carriage's walls. "This is literally kidnapping!" I shouted, frustrated. One moment I was getting chased by a bird, then got chased by a man with red eyes, and now I'm being forced to come with them.  Heck, it's a miracle I'm not yet dead. The carriage suddenly stopped and I looked left to right. Yeah, I can't see shit because the carriage's windows are close

Chapter 4 - Geneva

GENEVA’S POVI woke up with sweat running down my face as I breathed heavily. What was that? It felt so real... Being a Goddess of a kingdom, having wings and flying to the sky.. My eyes are as black as the universe yet my hair was white as snow. What is happening to me? This is strange. "Lady Nyla." I heard a voice from a distance. I blinked a couple of times till my vision was better. I looked to the left and saw the sorcerer and the Prince who’s named... Wesley? I think? I’m not so sure since I’m all confused."What happened to me?" I asked and they looked at each other before looking at me again. "You passed out and dropped the book. Do you have your memories back now?" Prince Wesley asked and I held my head. "I don’t- I just saw some memories- or imagination? It felt too fiction but my heart keeps telling me it’s real," I murmured and looked at the pair. "What did you see, lady Nyla?" The woman asked and I sighed, trying to remember again.

Chapter 5 - Geneva

GENEVA’S POVI felt my breathing start to stiff as it gets harder and harder to breathe due to this man’s rip. I know he’s listening to my thoughts right now and fuck him, fuck you, fuck you- His grip suddenly got tighter. I help his arm tighter as well. Okay, maybe a bad idea to curse him out. "Curse me?" he asked and I tried talking but couldn’t. Let me go you fucking asshole! I took a deep breath as I started to lose consciousness. I was about to pass out but I felt energy consume me. I opened my eyes wide as I stared at the man. I moved my hand and grabbed him by the neck and his eyebrows furrowed. "Lady Nyla!" Thelia shouted as she finally gained consciousness. I started squeezing the man’s neck before I threw him to the edge of the balcony. I fell to the floor as I started catching my breath. I have no idea what just happened but I was strong enough to push him away. I held my neck as my breathing started to be better. I looked at the man and saw him sm

Chapter 6 - Wesley

WESLEY'S POVThe attack ended and I ran back to the room and opened the door to check on the sorcerer and Lady Nyla. "They're taking care of the-" My eyes widened and my lips parted when I saw the Goddess. Her left eye completely turned black, there was no sign of color or life in it."W-what? Is something wrong?" She asked nervously while touching her face. I blinked a couple of times before handing a mirror to her. We were both mesmerized yet shocked by the sudden change of color in her eyes but it turned back to normal afterward. Our Goddess suddenly freaked out about her eyes. "What was that?!" she screamed and I stopped myself from smiling, she was kind of.. how do I phrase that? Attractive? She then moved to the sorcerer who was lying unconscious. "She cast a spell earlier and it drained her," she explained. It is no surprise that she passed out from that. A sorcerer could cast many spells but it is hard for them. Especially a spell to make a pr

Chapter 7 - Geneva

GENEVA’S POVIt’s the next day and the thought of dying is keeping me on edge. It almost feels like I'm next to a cliff that I can easily fall off on. It's terrifying to be in my position, especially my lack of knowledge about my past. If I really am a Deity, I need to get all my memories back before I turn into a corpse. We waited in anticipation and the book of life and death arrived. I was scared to know my fate but I need to be strong enough to defeat my destiny and make my own. "Here, drink some of this so you can calm down," Wilbur said and handed me a cup. I grabbed it and drank the liquid inside but I immediately spit it out and almost felt like vomiting after tasting it. "What the hell is that?!" I screamed and covered my mouth and nose to protect my senses from that horrible drink. "It's a drink to calm you?" he explained before blinking a couple of times but I only pushed the cup to him again before shaking my body off as a defense mechan

Chapter 8 - Wilbur

WILBUR’S POVThe sun rested behind the mountains as we were greeted by the moon. I sighed as I tried going out of the castle but the King and Queen held a meeting regarding the Deity coming back. Lady Nyla could be in danger because of me and I can’t live if she dies because of it. "The Goddess has been gone for a thousand years, there’s no way she’s back!" the Queen shouted at everyone before sighing. "Perhaps it’s just a rumor like before? The citizens love to make up stories," the King suggested but the Queen only glared at him. In this kingdom, my mother- or the Queen, is mostly in charge. She married into this family from a different kingdom but the King is too soft to make the decisions such as what she makes all the time. She’s vicious and cunning. "Has anyone here seen her?" The queen looked around the room and pointed at Wesley. He breathed heavily and I was on edge, thinking of what he’ll answer. "We captured her," he answered calmly and my eye

GENEVA'S POV[Dream Start]Why do I keep being on the brink of death ever since I have arrived in this realm? Lost Deity my ass, more like a lost punching bag. I breathed heavily and I opened my eyes. Everything was pitch black so I blinked a couple of times and I was slowly gaining my vision again. I felt heavy but I was surprised to see a white ceiling. My confusion intensified as my vision got even more clear. My eyes widened and my mouth agape from excitement. I stood up from my bed and looked around the room. My king-size bed with a soft and delicate cushion, my pillows that feel like a marshmallow, the room filled with all my personal things are all.. here! I’m back!I shrieked and hugged my pillow. I stood up and looked around my big room. My cell phone, computer, laptop, desk, it’s all here! I am overjoyed, I knew I was dreaming. Chapter 10 - Geneva

GENEVA’S POVNow that Thelia has been imprisoned, we have no idea where the book is hidden. We absolutely need to break her out of prison in order to get the book back. And I don’t want her to get decapitated under the King and Queen’s orders, imagining it already makes my neck hurt. Tell you what, one of the worst ways to go is being decapitated. Your head will be separated from your body. It’s currently night time and I’m going to sneak into the kingdom to get her out. I would have agreed right away but there’s a problem. My scent is recognized by the wolves and would easily catch me if I go near them despite the efforts of hiding. In order to avoid this problem, I have to smell differently. "I don’t want to rub myself against your fur!" I screamed in retaliation and crossed my arms. "Do you want to get caught then?" Wesley asked with a raised eyebrow and I scoffed before giving him a look. "Yes." I turned my head sassily as I continued arguing with him.
