 "Very well then, you've made your decision!" He said and turned his back to walk away but kicked Asher off the floor before walking away. I gasped at the impact of his kick on Asher because it had thrown him to the wall. "Asher!" I screamed as I ran to meet him but the instant i got close to him, he wouldn't let me touch him as he sent me a burning glare and clenched his teeth at me. "Asher!" I called out his name again but this time I was hurt at his behavior. I had expected him to embrace me with his arms but rather he shoved me off and stood up by himself. I watched how he leaped away from me in pain. I hated to see him in this much pain but he wasn't going to let me help him or even touch him and it made the knot on my chest tighten even more. I was shocked as I stood speechless in the middle of the room when other wolves in the room slowly raised their heads up

  "Do not ever raise your hands on me!" He roared with his lycan aura as his grip on my hand tightened and for some moment there I thought I was going to end up with a broken wrist as he didn't release his hand from mine even though I winced loudly in pain.   "Now leave!" He coldly said as he pushed me to the floor, letting my head hit the ground really hard that I suddenly started to feel a throbbing bad ache there, my vision started to blur out and the last thing I could see were his eyes, they were no longer golden but mildly green and then I blacked out.     *****   "Nora!" A voice called my name as my eyes fluttered but I immediately shut it back due to the amount of light that was entering my eyes.   "I'm glad you're okay now" the voice said

  "Take this!" He ordered as he approached me with two tablets in his hand and a cup of water from the small table beside the bed.   I stared at the drugs for some while as I contemplated whether or not to use the drugs, I didn't trust him and wasn't sure they were safe.   "The doctor gave them to me" he said like he was somehow reading my mind and I nodded my head as I collected the tablets from him and gulped them down with the water beside me.   "Thanks" I said but he didn't reply to me as he went back to sit down.   My mind was filled with different thoughts as I kept on thinking of how I could make him go far away from the room without him noticing anything.   I wasn't with my phone and there was no way I could reach out

ALARIC'S POV   Lying on the bee in my room while I stared at the blank ceiling, I wasn't at ease and couldn't bring myself to calm as I kept changing my position on the bed.    I really want to wrap her in my arms again but I couldn't, I had immediately stood up from her bedwheb I realized I couldn't hold it in anymore.   Every fibre in me wants nothing more than marking her and fucking her brains out but I had to be patient, not just for me but for her sanity because I really cared for her.   Other lycans probably wouldn't care about her feelings and would instantly mark and mate her but u was very aware of the fact that the bastard had turned her down a day before I arrived, who the fuck in their right senses would turn down such a beautiful girl like her.  

    LENORA'S POV   The noises, they were getting too loud as they kept on bothering my ear. I tried to open my eyes but it was like my whole body was too weak for that but the noises were getting awkwardly too loud that I used every last fibre in me to open my eyes.   The image in front of me wasn't any satisfying as my weak eyes immediately widened in awe as I spotted Asher being constantly pounded by a beast. I couldn't see the beast's face as his back was turned to me and unrecognizable but I could tell it wasn't just a wolf but a lycan due to the way he shifted      "Alaric!"
