The children enter very quietly in the classroom. It was the first lesson with Mr. Knudlac for Elizabeth and for many others."Please sit down," Knudlac told the children. And open the magic book ... on page 4.On each desk where two students were seated, a volume of How to use a wand - Lessons for beginners, Get busy and make it snappy by Paula Brown, appeared for each student. “Today we talk about how to use the magic wand. The magic wand is ... the extension of a wizard's hand and it is normal to be the first thing we learn to use. Today if we have more time after reading, we practice defence against the attack of the opponent... How to disarm your wand attacker,” said the professor. The boys were on top of the world. Bustle and noise among them, because it was clear they liked the subject they were to discuss at that course. What can be more fun for young people of their age than fighting with magic, to show which one is brighter.

Come on my dear, it's time to show you how you can relax after a hard day at school.”Professor Harmony took Elizabeth by the hand, and they both disappeared, as if swallowed by the earth.Elizabeth ended up on the backseat of a classic car, as red as fire with white interior, running smoothly on an unpaved road. It had no driver.“Look out the window,” said Miss Harmony, smiling. “Do not be afraid there is no driver in this car, because it knows exactly where to go. Enjoy the wonders that this savannah hides ...”Seeing Mrs. Harmony's calm and warm smile, Elizabeth looked out the window of the car. She did not understand where they were, because no one ever told her about a savannah, or show it to her, as it happened now.“What you see now is a group of lions. That's how they live, in groups ...”The girl saw some beautiful animals that looked dangerous.“They seem huge and fierce.&rdqu

But, that funnel seemed the least weird thing in this professor’s case. Although his appearance was neat, his beard was so long that it could be used to collect dust and debris from the floor or even a spider web from the shelves, so thick and long it was.In fact, Smart even used it unintentionally for this purpose, when he took out various stuff from the jars on the shelves, collecting with his beard the dust or junk of spider web with spiders running scared through his beard. Probably this gave the professor a nervous twitch, to rub his beard almost all the time, to clean it.Another strange aspect was his glasses. Better said ... binoculars instead of glasses. Because he had two magnifying glasses instead of lenses, which made his eyes look huge, like those of a fly on tiny head, still not helping him see much. And the strangest thing was what he told the children, when he finished setting up a lot of ingredients on everyone's tables, including a pile

“Now, let's try them,” Professor Lionel Squisshy told the studentsThey all cheered up, as everyone waited anxiously the end of the workshop, to be able to prove their skill."They look like kids who first tasted a shrinking truffle," Alexander told his followers. “Kids ... They will see immediately they are nothing more,” once again the "modest" Alexander managed to judge the others. As if it was natural to turn into a smaller version of yourself. But for kids like Prince Soimesti, used to magic as everyone is used to waking up every morning and falling asleep when night comes, it was nothing but normal.Elizabeth was also a happy kid who managed to make beautiful little things with their hands. But what was to come will make them even happier.“Elizabeth Edwards. Please spell with me ...”The girl waited a few moments, but as Smart said nothing, only admired a small skeleton of ... a mouse a

Prince Soimesti began to laugh when he heard this.“Fight is fight, no matter how easy it is ...”“Please tell me what you d-d-do to d-d-defeat him. I’m l-l-l-listening to you.”The boy slightly cleared his throat, then began to explain:  “First I place a bait near him, to draw him in the trap, then I turn into a venomous viper and I wait for him to come. I stay on the chase, and when the mouse comes to eat the bait, I bite him. I then let him go, until the venom takes effect, then I come and swallow him, to win the fight. Thus, my enemy is destroyed forever.”The professor looked doubtful about the explanation.“I know that ... The biggest problem is that I don't know how to shapeshift. But that's why I came to your class. That's why we all came here ...”“Sh-sh-shapeshifting is the easiest part. F-f-for viper you say transformatum Vipera ammodytes for example. And you
