The soldiers heavily guarded the house so that no one could enter or even come near.Curiosity filled Violet's mind as she wondered where she was now and why she was here. She wanted to ask Lucian, but she didn't dare open her mouth to ask him. “Put on the cloak now,” Lucian said into Violet's eyes. She nodded at him and took the cloak that was on the seat next to her and put it on. The cloak covered her head and entire body. Only her nose and lips could be seen. He told her to wear it so the soldiers could not see her beauty. Lucian led Violet out of the carriage and they walked over to Horace, who was waiting by the door with his two men. Lester stared at his father with his fake angry face. “Father, I promise you. I will find him and we will make him suffer at our hands,” he said in an angry tone. Lester laughed evilly inside as he watched his father nod trustingly into his eyes. The anger on Luther's face turned into a sad expression. “I promised your uncle before he died I would take care of Lucian and help him run our kingdom with all my heart. She gasped as she felt arms hug her waist from behind. “Is breakfast ready?” Lucian said in a soft voice with his cheek pressed against hers. “It will be ready in a minute,” she said in a nervous voice. He smiled devilry as he kept her in his arms. He enjoyed so much seeing her nervous and it made him want to tease her even more. “Please, can you wait in the chair?” she said with her heart beating rapidly. “Why? Don't you like me hugging you?” he asked back. She swallowed her nervousness. “I can't make breakfast if you keep hugging me.”  He laughed softly, then he took his arms from her waist and sat on a wooden chair, watching her prepare breakfast.
