The underground cells were what I was expecting, more or less. Similar to how Wyatt had his cells set up, there was a long passage that led to a fork in the road. Left was interrogation and right were the cells. As soon as we entered, the wonderful smell of the wilderness was replaced but the putrid smell of blood, sweat and piss. It clung to you like a leach. Getting out of the shower, I heard voices talking in a hushed tone. I just rolled my eyes and started to get dressed. I am super excited for this, though! I have no idea what this could be. A trip? I could defiantly use a vacation after all this. I still had the bad feeling so I knew something was still going to happen but I wasn’t sure what. My guard was up and I was extra jumpy as I waited for it to finally reveal itself. Opening the door to Grant’s hospital room, I was not expecting the sight that I saw. Grant was laying on a bed, a huge bandage over his head, his face that was showing was swollen and bruised. I hardly slept at all these last few nights. Today I will become queen. Today my life will change and everyone will look towards me for answers. Walking in, I saw two men and a woman standing off to the right laughing together. One was shorter, grey hair, full beard and looked to be around 65. “Nina! It is time!” Autumn called from behind me. I was standing in front of a long mirror, trying to recognize myself. My hair was flawless pulled to the side and braided. Loose curly strands of hair framed my face and neck. The makeup was light and elegant with a little more dramatic eyeliner. Nude covered my lips, fingertips and toes. The shoes matched my jewelry perfectly. The girls had placed a shimmering lotion on my arms, chest and back making me slightly sparkly when the light hits my skin. The dress fit my perfectly and was the right balance of my personality and what a queen should look like.
