At first, she intended to ignore their conversation as they may only be discussing nonsense matters. In fact, if a vampire casted the spell to protect a fellow vampire, the Hymn works differently from ordinary objects—this is probably why Lucas deemed the Hymn to be useless in the beginning. Going back, since it was casted upon Selene by the previous queen, Erina Griego, the Hymn not only transferred her to Westmount Kingdom but her vampiric abilities was also suppressed and in her blood, flowed the spell of the Hymn which would knock out or kill anyone who poses a thr
