Prologue - The Psycho

Third person's POV Screams and anger filled the mansion of the Salvador family. The five-year old little girl accepted this kind of havoc ever since their business dropped big time. A day would not pass without chaos and brawling between her parents.  But she never cried.  She never showed she cared. She never complained. Days passed and their business closed as it didn't escalated back anymore. Her parents eventually divorced because her father started to hit and abuse them. She lived with her mother and her father found a different woman.  She is a kid, yet she knows everything. She sees everything. Her mom got no choice but to sell their mansion and they transferred in a really small apartment.  "Why didn't you let me go with papa, mama?" The little girl questioned her mom, stoney-faced. Her mom faced her looking so depressed and vexed.

I - Belladonna

Third Person’s POVA new pleasant morning came.“Belladonna, wake up, dear.” Her aunt, Melinda, called her loudly while making breakfast. The girl jadedly went down to the living room and stared at her aunt, slicing hotdogs and portions of bacon.“Come here, dear.” The aunt called Belladonna and showed her how she slices those types of meat.“This is how you cut meat.” She said while gently fondling the knife.“Want to give it a try?”The aunt pointed the knife at the kid with a smug look on her face. The little girl grabbed the knife and started slicing the bacon that was left.“You’re fast.”“I’m just used to it. Mom has been in an unstable condition, and I need to survive.”“Well, anyways. I’ll continue cooking, and you may look around this mansion.”Belladonna started to roam arou

[ Belladonna's Point of View ]I have an idea what that lady is up to. I won't let her win. If she's going to kill me, then I have to kill her first.I don't want to murder her anyway, but she's pushing me to do it. The bottle I saw in the ugly basement, I do not doubt that it is poison. III - Memento Vivere

[ Belladonna's Point of View ]Living in isolation is quite lovely. I would rather live alone than live with abusive, negligent people who don't even care about me. Now I'm all alone. All I have to do in this life is to live. Memento vivere, Belladonna. I never had anyone by my side. Even my parents abandoned me. My aunt tried to kill me. I guess I'm not deserving to be loved. I'm fully aware that I'm mature for my age. Being a seven-year-old kid but having a mind of an adult is exhausting, I must admit. I never experienced playing with friends or at a playground or even running around fields. I'm always at home reading books while my parents create chaos in this mansion. I am also aware that I don't, or I can't feel any emotions. My feelings are numb. I don't know why I'm not like any other person, but I guess my past has significantly impacted who I am today

IV - A Bloody Night

[ Belladonna's Point of View ] It was already dark outside when we finished reading tons of books. Some guy needs to go home now. "Uhm, it's actually five pm. You better go home now." I told the boy beside me who was sulking while reading a horror book. He looked at me with sleepy eyes and stood up. "Thank you for today, Uhm, what's your name?" He said. Oh, we don't know each other's names yet? Definitely not. "I'm Belladonna. You can call me Bella." I told him. "Hmm, I prefer calling you Donna." Donna? How hideous! "Don't call me that!" I jeered. "Anyways, I'm Jameson." He looked at me, placed both hands inside his pocket, and started to do little sways. "Okay," I replied shortly. I don't need his name anyway. "I'll get going then, goodbye! Invite me again next time!" I came with him to the front doo

V - Crush

[ Belladonna's Point of View ]The policemen interrogated me about what happened last night. The guy was revealed to be Melinda's best friend, who is in love with her.I told the police that I was a victim and the guy planned to kill me too. When they asked me where the gunshot in the guy's hand came from, I told them it was probably from a fight he had before he came here.Thankfully, I left the gun inside the cabinet, and they didn't find it.The policemen believed every single thing I said, of course. Some adults are really gullible and easy to manipulate. If we think that children are innocent and know nothing about the world, think twice.I'm kind of tired and exhausted witnessing deaths in my life, but it makes me somehow satisfied.Very satisfied."Bella!" Jameson called me right after the policemen finished asking me senseless questions.

Special Chapter - Massacre of the Mask

[Belladonna's Point of View] People say that November is when spirits come back to the world to meet their loved ones. I don't believe in ghosts. If there were any, I guess mom and aunt Melinda would haunt me right at this very moment. To be honest, ghosts aren't scary at all. Humans are a lot scarier, living life like dead people. I'm looking for an outfit to wear because Jameson asked me to a Halloween party tonight. I guess we'll go trick or treating to different homes just like what chocolate-faced kids do. Then I found this cute orange pumpkin dress with wings. It's not so attractive but acceptable enough, I guess. The police permitted me to go out as long as we wouldn't go far away from the neighborhood. I grabbed a lamp and a basket to place the treats we were gonna get. Should I get my gun? Nevermind. I went outside and saw Jameson waiting for

VI - Family

[ Belladonna's Point of View ]Another day, another reason for me to survive. The policemen already left weeks ago since they've been guarding the mansion, and nothing suspicious is happening for a month. Now that I'm all alone again, I feel like something's going to happen this day.I'm looking forward....Knock. Knock. Knock.Who's it this time? Now that the policemen left?Is it Jameson? He didn't visit me for days.I slowly opened the door and saw a familiar guy. It's the devil. He still has the guts to come into this mansion he abandoned?"Hi, Donna, my dearest daughter. Have you missed papa?" He uttered typically without even feeling a pang of single guilt.I just stared at him blankly since I didn't feel anything. Neither anger, despair, nor pain. Zilch."Won't you let me inside our home?"When he

VII - I Fear Her

[ Belladonna's Point of View ] The scorching sun met my skin as I awake from a deep sleep. What happened yesterday? Right, I told Jameson that my 'parent' was getting me, and he told me to call him anytime I needed help. Well, I don't need his help, but it might be of use. However, I don't have a phone. I started to pack my things up and bought the necessary items. Oh right, the gun. Sometimes, people give things to others that they will regret in the future. So never give anything you will regret. ... "There you are, Bella. Let's go! I'm sure you will be excited to see your new home." The devil came to pick me up. As I went outside the mansion, I looked back and smirked. That mansion is where everything began. I never spoke a word or two when the devil was driving his car. I feel like this car would
