Chapter 1: The Inevitable Blind Man As we open the gate of the School, the newly-built library caught our attention. It was still the vacation month going, and we need to find the confidential files that the school was hiding. There's no electricity at that time. Just our luck, Aaron has the key duplicates of all the rooms. "We need to hurry, anytime, there will be teachers," Trixie shouted. Because even if it was a vacation —one by one— teachers will come to check the school. We ran through the newly-built library and try unlocking the door. "Aaron, faster!" Nathan insisted, as Aaron repeatedly trying to fit all the key duplicates one by one inside the padlock. "Here we go!" Aaron whispered, and successfully opened the library. As we enter the library, we are amazed to learn that it was so huge. On our standby position, many chairs were assembled, that seemed to look like a classroom at first glance. Many bookshelves aligned horizontally were seen. At last, the librarian's ass

Chapter 2: The Assassination of the Blind ManWhat's this? Isn't it the library?I looked all over the place. Yes, it was the library! But why am I here?I slowly stepped my right foot forward. My.. my brain was processing without my consciousness.I tried processing what's inside my brain. I approached the chair that was a meter away from me and sat on it. I held my head with my right hand's fingers and closed my eyes."The staff..." I unconsciously uttered. "The staff will come... They will... kill me?!"I rapidly stood and checked if anyone's approaching. There were footsteps! There were a lot of feet that sounded loudly.I ran and hid between the shelves. I halfway looked at the door, where the people that will try to kill me will enter. What?!My mother entered the room! Her co-staffs

Chapter 3: The Man that was Named PriamI sat at a café near the school. I also called the rest of the group I accompanied at the library yesterday. Then, I just laid back the fluffy, sofa-like chair, and felt the nice ambiance. It was an unusual morning from the time I woke up. I just can't forget what I dreamed not so long. That assassination done at the library was impossible to take place. The library was as new as a newborn baby. It wasn't officially opened for public because it was still the vacation month. The cafeteria's door opened. Even if I was at the corner where the orderings happened, I can still see they were Aaron and Nathan."Hey, Aze!" Aaron greeted with a smile, evading the chairs that were clattered all over the café."Boss Harp!" Nathan mildly shouted. He used to call me with than nickname. "You're al

And.. did he pass away?!No, he was still alive and slowly closed the book, standing his ground. He panted repeatedly. He almost fell on his knees, still holding the book. He supported himself by leaning on the shelf. He panted in difficulty, closing his eyes because of the searing pain.He gradually placed the book he was holding between the gap of two books clattered at the shelf, fitting it perfectly. He was still catching his breath. After he had placed the book in a secured spot, he lost his balance, falling down to the floor."Harp..." he whispered as he slowly fell on the floor with a sound of 'THUD!' "Get out of the school!!"I just stared at her. "Trixie, remember that shelf.." I whispered, as she carved the shelf with her fingernail. "Follow what she said, leave this Library."The staff looked at me sharply. "And you?" she asked me, and tried picking her gun at her pocket.Trixie and the rest have left, but Aaron kicked her and got her gun out of her hand, creating a fiasco. "Hey, Aze! Get this!" Aaron shouted, and throw the gun towards me.I caught the gun by jumping midair, using my right hand. I returned back to where I stood at, as Aaron was being punched by the staff."How dare you!" Chapter 6: Two Fathers, Two SonsI was outwitted! I need to be faster! Lily was way more powerful than I have imagined. As she stood in front of me, she tried punching my face with her left fist, but I crouched down and evaded her hand. I retorted by kicking her left side of her body. I throw my knife at her, as I flipped back vertically. She squatted downwards, almost touching the floor, as I stood straight. I attacked again with a shot, as she rushed towards me using her swords. She slashed the bullet that I used to attack her. She was still running at great speed, and send two swords drifting towards me.I held my gun tightly —as she was only few meters away— staring at her. But a wash of light blinded the two of us and broke the ceiling. My eyes can only see black. I can only see nothing but darkness."Lucy!"What's that? Did someone call the name of my mom?!"Lucy! Get out, I have to tell you something!!"That shout became louder and louder! I looked all over the place, but I can

"Please elaborate the hint, Mr. Hughes."Six stars have made the Big Dipper. One of its stars was Polaris." he stated. "Alpha High was modeled as its Polaris star. Chapter 9: The Lies of Sleeping DogsThrough the little rivulets of water running off his umbrella, Liam Norris watched them lower his father's coffin into the damp Donegal earth. As the priest's muffled blessing came to an end, the pall-bearers, unhitching the ropes from the now invisible handles with just a fraction too much haste, started back up the hill towards the church, followed by the priest with his own large black umbrella, and the two rain-soaked altar-boys who hurried ahead with little pretense of reverence. The mourners, a group of seven or eight rather shabbily-dressed men of his father's generation, ambled over to Liam and Francie and solemnly shook Liam's hand one by one, looking him up and down curiously as they did so, telling him that they were "sorry for his trouble". Liam thanked each of them for coming and for his kind wishes, but in reality all that he felt towards them was a mild unease, mixed with guilt at his own lack of emotion throughout the entire ceremon

Chapter 10: The Oracle at the AdelphiIt was only when Satan Coil died that any of us discovered that Satan hadn't been his real name. He died in 1956, the year that the Russian tanks rolled in to Budapest to crush the Hungarian Revolution. Of course the Hungarian Revolution was of no concern to me, I was nine years old and what I cared about was my new black Raleigh Junior bicycle, the TV set with the huge mahogany cabinet and the miniscule, blurry and often rolling black-and-white picture, and the Glenalough Adelphi, the local cinema that was owned and managed by Satan, where my friends and I spent every Saturday afternoon, transported to other lands, other times and other lives by the magic of the flickering screen. The idea of a cinema being owned and operated by Satan was one that must have appealed mightily to the local Roman Catholic hierarchy, it may even have been them who gave him the nick-name, but I suspect that it emerged more from his habit of running up and down the cin
