"Gold?" Selene touches the prison bars holding the dragon. "It's a dragon's weakness. Quite a mystery. They are obsessed with the thing, and it can weaken them." Veronica muses. "Open the cell." She parks at the cell guard. The guard scoffs, "We don't allow her kind down here. However, if she wants to offer dinner..." The guard's nostrils lift into the air, inhaling Selene's scent. "You would do well to keep your hands off Lord Jones's promised!" Veronica warns. The guard looks incredulous. "Yes, he is mated to a wolf. A witch-wolf hybrid, if we are specific. Now allow us to pass." The guard hangs his head and opens the cell door. Huddled in the corner is a large male with a strange aura. He glares at the females. "Vampires." he snarls at Veronica. His eyes shift to Selene and then fall to her slight bump. "A pregnant wolf." The dragon shifter stands, hobbling towards Selene. " You are about four months along if my senses are correct." He kneels at her feet, sniffing

"When do we set out?" This is the only question Diana asks when Selene catches her up on what Drogo told her. "We? Diana, you're the Luna!" Selene protests. "Matias and your pack need you!"  "And so does my sis-in-law. Matias nor dad will ever agree to help you! "Selene can't help but appreciate Diana's anger for her sake. Drogo walks out the door, climbing into the back of the car while Selene sits in the front. Veronica pulls out of the driveway, the guards not stoping the vampire from exiting the gate.
