Luke doesn't know how long he has been in the cave. Other than changing guards, Luke did not have any way to check the time, day, or location. Morgan had been able to conjure a timepiece the first week with his magic, but they almost got caught by a nosy guard in the process. So now both men are hanging on by a thread. There was hardly any food or sleep in their cramped cell, and other than each other for company, they weren't left with anything to occupy their time. Luke tries to keep busy by replaying memories- memories of Grace and Selene. Then he would plan a future with Selene, one with pups and a large yard.Morgan snorts awake and frantically looks toward the cell door. The dragon guards were whispering loudly.
