"Hey" Xavier called as Melissa made to leave to play her part which was to distract Mr. Dominic. Buying time for Xavier and Melissa to enter inside the warehouse and search for Maya.    "Don't have too much fun with this and try not to die."    She rolled her eyes, "And let you live in peace without an annoying sister, oh give me some credit."    She smirked, he smiled.    And then she was walking into the warehouse like it was a normal place she had stumbled upon and knew she'll see her dad in, forming coy and impossible at the same time as she screamed dad so loud, Xavier winced from where he stood.    "Melissa," his eyebrow was pursed in confusion as he blinked twice but there his daughter stood, looking at him blankly like she had just dropped by the house to see him since going by the news he was receiving she had evacuated the mansion with her good for nothing mother.    

Xavier rushed towards Jasmine hitting the gun off her hand immediately Melissa's hand stopped moving making his eyes widen. Immediately he passed it with his leg.   Mr. Dominic smirked and left Melissa. She fell on his feet, her breath hard.   He took the gun and pocketing it smiled, raising his brow at Xavier, "How hard was that?" He shrugged, "That's why you will always be weak, Xavier. The cunt even had more guts than you," he mumbled, referring to Jasmine who was apologizing profusely as she rushed to Melissa.   "No." Xavier mumbled, "That's the difference between you and me. While you care about nobody, I do care.""Hope you care enough to take your sister and this woman," Mr. Dominic glared at Jasmine, "Over here out of here and I'll pretend like this ugly incident never happened.""I didn't leave the comforts of my house to just come in here and call it quits." Xavier retorted Cooly, his hands on his pocket.

"Xavier___" she paused and then he heard her laughter ring so loud, like music to his ears making him realize yet again it was one of the things he missed about her.   "I know you are in the spur of the moment and my kidnap was a lot for you to handle but don't start saying things you don't mean, okay? I just might have the wrong idea," she shook her head amused, and then peered down at the basket of fruits he was holding while staring at her in shock.   "Is that for me?" She asked, her eyes narrowing at his transfixed expression.   "Yes," he muttered without thinking.   "Then hand it over, I decided to talk to you first so I can get you off the hook," she shook her head in disbelief, "How sweet of you to wait till I wake up before you go home. But your bloody T-shirt is making me dizzy and I know how busy of a man you are so just head back to work, aye?"   "Maya I was serious__" 

Two weeks later"When are you resuming work? I have missed you at work." Xavier muttered.   They had just finished seeing a movie and their gazes were still on the rolling credit when he had asked the one question Maya dreads.   He had refused her leaving his house until she was completely fine and now, she was more than fine she wasn't sure she wanted to leave his side.   But the decision she had made after long thoughts and careful thinking will make walking away from his house and she hoped, as soon as they could break the news that they broke up to the public space, his life too, easier.   "I know I did say, you could take all the time you needed but it seems like you are bored to death here all by yourself besides you have fully recuperated."   Maya took a long sip of the wine beside her bracing herself for one of the most difficult conversations she just might skip if that option w
