    I spent all day with Leo at the vampire knights training ground and I must say, His physical combat skills were very impressive -he is kicking my ass., but that was because I was worried about Thunder, he hasn’t made a movement all day or answered any of my mind- link calls. I know he’s there, somewhere, we shifted when Jax locked us in the room with him at Uncle Gary’s but after that night, I haven’t felt him since. “Please tell me what’s wrong so I can fix you, fix us” I kept asking him in a mind link, still no answer, only silence. Leo landed a blow on my belly, taking a cheap shot as my mind was somewhere else. I wiped the sweat from my brow, it must be high noon now that’s when the heat becomes more intense “Come on is that all you have?” I asked  “You little shit” I groaned out loud with every blow Leo seemed to Land on my steel-like body -except this time, I was more like a jelly-filled doughnut absorbing every punch he tossed my way.

Chapter 30

 The bathroom was Quiet, I stood naked next to the large hot tub bath, it was almost as big as my room back at the Shadow-core packhouse but nowhere near this extravagant – the bath water was a clear ocean blue tint with a bunch of different aromas mixed in, I guess the mages here at the castle take their healing baths very seriously. I got in and slowly emerged myself under the mildly hot water, “come on buddy, where are you?” I asked as I sank deeper letting the water engulf over me completely, my eyes closed and I let my mind wonder in search for Thunder but I soon found myself back at the same woods I once roamed. “Thunder!” I yelled hoping he could hear me, but I got no answer back. I kept walking along the dull lifeless trees that were all around me “Thunder!” I yelled again -Still no answer “where can you be?” before I knew it, I was back at my old packhouse- it was quiet.
