Photograph

Quinn's point of view  I could scent Nathan before I even opened my eyes, but when I stretched, I knew I was lying on a bed, which was strange as I was sure I had fallen asleep on the couch in his office. I opened my eyes, and sure enough, I was lying on a bed in Nathans old room in his parent's suite. I was still fully clothed; even my shoes were on. I wandered into the living room to find Sarah, Megan and Summer looking for a photographer; apparently, Sarah couldn't decide between two, so the girls were looking through their portfolios to help her choose. I also found out that we were also having a videographer as well. I didn't really understand why we needed both, but Sarah had insisted. “How are you feeling after your nap,” Summer asked as I sat down on the couch between her and Megan. “Like I need another one,” I replied. “Wheres Nathan?”

Hospital Dash

Quinn's point of view  I looked down at his phone and saw the photo he had been sent of me being carried whilst sleeping by Asher. “Well, in my defence, I was sleeping,” I told him, handing the phone back to him although he made no effort to take it back. “There is a text attached this time.” I scrolled down and saw the text, “look how content your supposed mate looks in your brother's arms. How do you know it's you she wants” “who the hell is doing this” I exploded “surely there is a way for us to find out who's phone it is.” “I tried, but it's a pre paid phone, so there is no way to find out who's doing it, but I thought I should let you know.” I turned my head away from him and started at the pond in front of me.

What's Happening

Nathan's point of view  I rushed to her the picnic basket as fast as I could. I didn't want to speculate about what could be the cause of Quinn being sick like she said it's a normal part of pregnancy, but the way Amy was acting wasn't helping my fears; in fact, she made them worse. I've known Amy my whole life she's two years older than me and I was friends with her brother for many years she met her mate in our pack so unlike so many women she didn't have to move to a new pack and I could tell that there was something wrong as soon as she asked me to retrieve the food. I trusted Amy to sit with Quinn as a friend, but I still didn't know if this was a straightforward pregnancy thing or if someone had tried to harm her and our pups. Regardless of what happened, she would want her best friends there; even if it were so that they could sit in the waiting room, she would be calmer knowing they were there. Also, selfishly

Ralaxation

Quinn's point of view  I watched Emily's face as she came into the room. Ever the consummate professional, her face gave nothing away. Amy, on the other hand,  had a twinkle in her eye, instantly making me relax. “We have good news”, Emily smiled, moving closer to the bed. “You suffered an allergic reaction to the flour they used in the brownies.” “Are you sure” Nathan snarled, earning him a scowl from Emily. “Yes, the kitchen had used brown flour in the brownies to try and make them healthier, and you're allergic to it.” “Why didn't it look like an allergy,” I asked, confused.“My guess would be because of your special ability.” “You mean because I'm a Darach,” I asked as Amy’s mouth fell open id for

The Night Before

Quinn's point of view  I eagerly awaited Liam’s arrival like a dog with two tails. I missed him, and even though it hasn't really been that long since I've seen him, I still wish I had moved closer to home so I could see him a lot more. I practically ran to the door when the doorbell sounded, throwing the door open and hugging Liam. “Look at you, Quinn; you're glowing.” Liam held me at arm's length as he looked me over. “That would be the spa day me, Summer and Megan had today.” I laughed. “You look great. Being pregnant suits you, sis. So where's Summer and my future brother in law.” “Summer has gone with Megan and Sarah to check the banquet hall to make sure it's ready for tomorrow. They are leaving nothing to chance, and Nate is getting as much work done

Wedding Day

Quinn’s point of view  I could hear Summer and Megan singing; here comes the bride getting louder and way more off key the closer they got. I was at the bottom of the stairs when they came in the back door, squealing when they saw me. “Quinny, you don’t mind if we have a wee drink, do you?” Summer asked me, fluttering her eyelashes at me as she waved a bottle of wine under my nose. “I get the feeling you’ve already started”, I joked as she giggled. I wrestled the wine from her hand, and she and Megan ran to put on their pyjamas as I poured them both a glass of wine and myself an orange juice before I settled in front of the television. The girls were soon changed and plopped down on either side of me, and the three of us got settled with our drinks and popcorn and stuck on Magic Mike on Netflix. “I love me some Cha

Married

Quinn's point of view “Mate”, Liam spoke. I stared at him for a second before my brain kicked in, and I turned to find Megan frozen halfway down the stairs, her mouth hanging open and her eyes locked on Liam. “Mate”, she breathed slowly as she descended the stairs and straight into Liam’s waiting arms. Summer and I shared the same shocked look as they kissed. “Alpha Liam, I presume,” Megan asked as she pulled away from him. “Yes, and you must be Megan. I've heard a lot about you.” Liam replied, smiling at Megan like she hung the moon. “Likewise”, she whispered back with the same dopey expression on her face as the dazed into each other’s eyes.  “They’re mates,&rdquo

The Calm before the Storm

Quinn's point of view  The banquet hall erupted in cheers and applause as Nathan and I walked hand in hand to the top table. Lots of whistling and people shouting their congratulations to us as we walked past. We took our seats as the applause continued. Nathan stood and held his hands up to quieten the room. He cleared his throat as his beautiful eyes watched me full of love and happiness shining for the world to see.   “I just want to say thank you to everyone for coming and celebrating our wedding with us. I feel like the luckiest man in the world, and I’m so happy I get to share this day with you all.” Nathan spoke to the crowd, but his eyes were still on me as he leaned down and kissed me.   Usually, the thought of speaking in front of a crowd would terrify me, but I was about to become Luna and help run this pack, so public speaking will soon become part of my job.

Not Again

Quinn's point of view  The smell of raw sewage, the smell most commonly associated with rogues, invaded my nose before I even looked up from the floor. Liam reacted faster than I would have thought possible as he grabbed me up from the floor and positioned me behind him as Emma and Jake joined us, the three of them in protective stances around me. I was paralysed with fear not for myself but for my babies, and I couldn't even shift to protect us without potentially killing them. “Quinn mindlink your pack,” Liam shouted at me as I mentally cursed myself for not doing that straight away. -Rogues in the banquet hall. We are under attack- I shouted as I sent out a mass mindlink and prayed it worked as I hadn't had a chance to try it before.Less than ten seconds later, I had Nathan, Asher, Summer and Megan all mind linking to tell me they were

It’s You

Nathan's point of view  “Where the fuck is my wife” I shouted, shaking the cells keeping my eyes firmly on the rogue. He tore his eyes away from Asher and looked at me. “Don’t know”, he shrugged. “Who put you up to this?” I tried again. “I’m not saying anything. I have no reason to cooperate. You’re going to kill me regardless of what I say.” “Yes, but we can make it quick if you give us answers, or we can make it slow,” Asher smirked at the man. While I was used to Asher’s usual mischievous smirk, this was one I hadn’t seen before; it was evil as he stood up and walked towards the cell door, picking up a pair of gloves from the shelf at the side of the cell.Asher opened the door and pulled the man roughly by his arm, forcing him to
